Very impressed.
As a completely amateur photographer with very limited experience I was put off by other reviews of this lens but decided to see for myself(scuse the pun) it is very easy to use and does the job expected of it. I’m very pleased with it and the price !

Quality,
Well to start with smaller than advertised, it's the old saying "you get what you pay for" but being fair it is a good little lens, from about 100 meters the shot I took of a car was fair, you could even read the small writing on the front grill,It's light sturdy easy to use, I am happy with the cost for a cheap tele zoom lens, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a budget lens that zooms a distance, fits my cannon 760d,

JINTU 420-800mm f/8.3 Manual Telephoto Zoom Camera Lens
A reasonable telephoto lens, at a reasonable price will take a bit of getting use to, as can only be used in manual mode, but this is the challenge of using this lens and will help with using settings on my camera I would never use, so I am happy with my purchase which will assist me on my photography journey

Perfect!
After browsing several different options I was drawn to this product through the description, images and price. It does more than I was looking for and came with caps and a leather style bag for protection. It’s easy to transport and fits perfect in my kit bag.The price was more than reasonable for this type of product having viewed others with at least triple the price. First time buyer from this seller and would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised ! Very decent quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. I am a photography enthusiast, and one of the reasons I got into the hobby, was to take photos of the moon.As a beginner, I shoot with a Canon M50 + a number of ef-m lenses. Unfortunately my longest focal was the 18-150mm. While a versatile lens for general photography, 150mm is way too short (even with the 1.6 sensor crop factor and the additional crop in 4K).I initially wanted to save to buy the Sigma 150-600mm. But a bit of research showed that 600mm is still a little too short for closer photos of the moon surface.I came across this EF telephoto zoom lens with a maximum focal of 800mm, selling for £100, so I decided to take a chance. While the lens is obviously far from perfect optically (soft and quite a bit of chromatic aberration), I am super happy with the results of my 1st Moon shots.Caution though, it is a fully manual lens, so a sturdy tripod, as well as a camera with clear focus peaking are an absolute must. IBIS would also be a big help. The lens is also quite slow (f8.3-16).If you are on a budget, a beginner and your use case is similar to mine, I would say that this is a no brainer.

Image quality poor
At the price, i thought it was worth a try, but very disappointed with the image quality. The chromatic aberration is very high. I got better quality picture by using Canon EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM lens and digitally zooming in than using JINTU . The only reason I bought the lens was to get better reach

Not quite good enough.
It works with my Canon EOS 400D and for my budget I don't see much choice. Optically not great, now I've played with it a bit more is just doesn't seem to focus. Obviously the camera knows nothing about it and it is all manual set-up and focusing and no apature.Worst part is the quality of the metal parts: poor anodising of the parts which has flaked off in some parts and the grub screws that hold the lens to the adaptor ring are of such soft metal they can't be easily tightened and also cause flaking. (I will replace grub screws myself.)Now I've tried it out for what I want it isn't good enough and given the poor quality generally I've change my review and will get a refund.
