Not good for steel.
If you're planning on drilling anything harder than aluminum, don't waste your money. I burned through 2 bits on 1 hole in 1/8 mild steel with cutting fluid.

Perfect for 3/16" rivets
It seems that 3/16" rivets are not really meant for a hole drilled by a 3/16" drill bit. I am guessing that the rivet is measured in metric and conversion to inches comes close to 3/16" (at least most of the rivets I buy on Amazon). This 13/64" inch bit is 1/64" larger and allows easy insertion of the 3/16" rivet that is really a 5mm rivet which would fall in between 3/16" and 13/64". And since most rivets are meant for metal, I find cobalt bits to be long lasting in metal drilling even without use of lubrication oil.
