I repair lawnmowers. Normally a stripdown (main jet and emulsion tube out). Clean with jet files and brake cleaner. All good again. But I got a second hand repair in and I think someone had drilled the main jet. It was running very rich.Included gaskets are fine. I just re-used the originals as nothing wrong with them. Fuel filter unnecessary as the RS100 has a fuel filter inside the fuel line at the wide end that connects to the petrol tank. Check fuel does flow while the fuel line is disconnected from the carburettor. TIP: A plastic food bag clip is ideal to clamp the fuel line off whilst swapping carbs.This carburettor has a brass adjustment screw. Just ignore it. It is to adjust the bypass jet mixture for tick over applications. As the RS100 is a fixed speed and governed engine it is basically redundant.D.

Gaskets were not quite the same on my Mountfield SP414 but made do. Was not expecting much but the thing fired on a partial pull. It has never started so easily, nor has it run so smooth. Can recommend! 5 min fit with a 10mm socket.

This was a replacement carb for a Mountfield mower which was in poor condition. Replaced carb with original hoses as the hose supplied was slightly different outside diameter and clip was loose. Mower started first time and and now runs perfectly.

I should have bought this new carburettor a long time ago! I've cleaned and set up the old carburettor many times to try to get my lawn mower running better, but it never ran well until I fitted this new one. I've had the mower for nine years and it's never run so smoothly as it does now. There is also a very important inline fuel filter included. Recommended.

Fits ok but not correct for my Sp414

Absolutely identical to the original carb that comes on the RLM4114 four stoke lawnmower which i now believe it obsolete. Comes with all gaskets, new fuel tubing and even an inline fuel filter. Great item and great find!

Hi,Item sold as compatible with Mountfield HP 164 mower. I can confirm that it is not compatible unless there a other versions of the HP 164.

Used as a replacement for Mountfield 414 type carb fitted to a McCulloch i was in two minds about buying this un-reviewed item.The item is extremely well built, probably better than the original and exceptional value.Fitted in less than 5 mins i primed it and pulled the start cord in anticipation, nothing!. Pulled again , nothing. Primed again and pulled and Wow! Burst into life and runs like it did when new. Cannot reccomend highly enough as long as its the right one for your model.
