PROS:This cage was delivered within 2 day of purchase, even though I chose the free 3-5 day option :)It was simple to put together and took all of 10 minutes. It is a large cage suitable for up to 4 rats. It is made of sturdy material and has a large base meaning litter doesn't flick out all over the floor.The top opening is great, making it super easy to get everything in and out and simple to clean. It also flat packs when needed!The extras make it worth the money, but i would suggest buying another ramp and shelve to make it a bit more exciting!Student discount can also be used :DCONS:The water bottle is cheap and isn't made to last.The front opening is a great size and very handy, but it is hard to open when you first get the cage. The clips lock on the inside of the bars meaning you have to slightly bend the bar above to open the door. However this does mean no escapes!Overall I would highly recommend this cage compared to most others on the market, with a few extras add ons, it makes the ideal home. And is good value for money.

This cage is large and sturdy. I had no problems putting it together by myself and although the instructions were just pictures I had no trouble figuring out what to do. It has some downsides, but nothing that would prevent me recommending it! The cheap water bottle I got with it leaks a bit (which I expected) and the hammock isn't great quality (hammocks are fairly disposable anyway), one of the main things it's missing is a second shelf so I would advise you to buy another one when you're getting this. There are plastic struts along the sides that the cage walls slot into and plastic corners to strengthen the corners. The struts don't seal 100% with the base of the cage, plus they have slits all the way down them. Add this to the small plastic corners and cleaning is going to be an issue. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out how to open the front door. The only way I've managed to open it is with brute strength. Apparently there's a trick to it that my breeder will be showing me when I pick up my rats. Otherwise it's getting the pliers, not a big hassle. The roof door is great though and I'm happy with the size and quality of the cage. Cleaning will be a pain but everything else is a minor irritation; this is a very good cage!

Basically your main complaint could be how easy it is to clean. It is not hard to clean I will start off by saying, but it does take a little bit longer when you want to take the whole thing apart, sides off, top off etc. I agree with another reviewer that said this only needs to be done once a month and a cage clean without removing all the sides is fine for the rest of the weeks.The access is AMAZING! You can not fault it.The reason it is fiddly to clean is because it can be flat packed and therefore needs the slots. In my opinion however, the ability to flat pack outweighs the cleaning inconvenience.The cage is sturdy and the accessories are great. My water bottle didn't leak with a couple of tips - fill to the brim, push ball in before tipping it back over and then releasing, flicking and 'using' the water bottle with your finger until bubbles come up. Vaccum should then be sealed.The hammock is actually one of my favourites despite being the most basic. If you remove the chains and use it without them it can act as a second platform, which my boys love.For the quality the price is good. For the price, the size is fair. I personally would not have more than two boys in this.My two rats love it and if used wisely it can store lots of fun ropes/hammocks/baby ring chains/tunnels/huts/hanging bird toys/movable toys on the base. It's great!!

Prompt delivery. Kept informed. Contacted company because cage door does'nt close safely. Similar comments on line. Will have to be creative to put this right. Its do able.

I have to say I am rather disappointed with the product, first time it was delivered there was a massive crack going all the way up the plastic part of the lid, wouldn't have bothered me so much but the water bottle that came with the cage would jam within minutes of putting it in, my rats went over 10 hours without water due to this problemUnderstandably I complained and asked for a refund or a cage replacement, I had to pay £16 for shipping to return the broken cage that was not fit for useOn receiving the REPLACEMENT CAGE again the lid was broken, one of the hinges had snapped off, this was fixed with cable tyes. Yes the cage is big and has a good height and ideal bar size, but the plastic on the lid is flimsy and very easily damaged in shipping. I would not recommend using the water bottle which comes with the cage being this problem.

A decent quality cage for the money I paid. This is one of the larger cages on the market, ( it's huge!) and as such can comfortably house 3-4 rats. The cage itself was relatively quick and easy to assemble. I was pleased with all the included accessories, except for the water bottle that arrived dented and was very flimsy. Although this wasn't an issue as I shall use my own water bottle. I've yet to purchase my rats so I don't know how the cage will fair when they're inside. I was extremely pleased to find that Ferplast actually make spare/replacement parts for this particular cage, unlike others in the Ferplast range. I have since ordered another shelf and ladder so I can form a second platform for my pets. They also make replacement bases which is always handy. Overall I am extremely pleased with this cage and would recommend to anyone looking for a roomy rat/ferret cage. One of the better ones on the market!

I am very disappointed. I received a broken tray with a large crack in the corner, and was happy to have a quick replacement, but that again arrived and this tray was broken even worse. So will just be returning and getting a refund and will buy a cage elsewhere.

i really love this cage, my rats will be so happy. this is my second cage by ferplast, i fully recommend them.but it delivered a bit broken :( this breakdown does not affect the use of the cage in any way, which is why I give 5 stars.all parts are excellent quality, also it was easy to assemble!

Absolument parfait pour des rats ! La cage est spacieuse et les accessoires fourni sont très bon. Attention cela dit elle ne convient pas pour plus 2/3 rats max !

Se paga lo q vale. Muy buena calidad y robustez. El hurón no se puede escapar de ninguna forma.

Ho preso questa gabbia per i miei due ratti, gli ho anche aggiunto un piano in più. È comoda da pulire e da smontare. Ottima l’apertura sopra per accedere a tutti i punti. Ho dato 3 stelle perché la parte in plastica sotto è arrivata rotta da un angolo, ma servendomi in fretta non l’ho resa.

La jaula está bien y el hurón tiene espacio suficiente, no le doy 5 porque el cierre de la puerta lateral es difícil de abrir y cerrar, el compartimento para hacer sus necesidades tampoco se utiliza porque es demasiado alto debería tener menos borde y la sujeción a los laterales también debería ser mas cómoda de manipular para poder sacarlo y ponerlo.Tuve problemas con la primera entrega ya que llegó deteriorada, realice una devolución y me mandaron una completa y en buenas condiciones, en esto hay que darle un 5 por su eficiencia ya que no tardaron mas que 3 días en enviarla.
