I ordered XL for my 11 year old who wears size XXL or 14/16 in most boys clothing (we typically buy GAP or Old Navy) and men's small in some brands. I used the size chart and I would say it's pretty accurate, they may run a little larger.Both of my boys wear these and say they are super comfortable. I always try to get them clothes with printed tags, stretchy for lots of movement, and breathable. They have been layering them under sweaters, sweatshirts, and tees. I bought them both a second pack because they liked them so much.

Size chart is way off
Purchased these for my teenager. Wanted them to be fitted, and according to the size chart was an XL.When they arrived they were absolutely huge. We ended up ordering mediums that fit perfectly. A little on the long side.
