This helped protect my sore thumb!
I lost a nail, this helped protect my bare nail bed from bashes and from snagging the few bits of remaining nail before they came off! not waterproof of course but I was able to cover with a latex glove when necessary to keep the dressing dry!

Bandage Tape
Sorry I find this tape not strong enough to hold bandage down. You will need a few strips to hold end down. Sorry I won't be buying this tape again.
