That's A Lot Of Darts...
OK, I'm going to be THAT guy...I'm not a serious darts player. I have a decent dartboard hung in my basement and only throw from time to time for fun. I've tried ordering good darts before, but they never seemed to stay together well. Maybe it was something I was doing wrong, but they'd fly apart every time the dart hit at a bad angle or struck those little metal dividers separating the scoring sections. So, I went with cheap, one-piece darts. These were an improvement, but they break (permanently) rather easily. Needless to say, that kind of thing takes the fun right out of it. I figured it was time to try "real" darts one more time. I'm glad I did. These are nifty, there are plenty of them, and the price point is reasonable for my informal usage. Here's my only complaint (and the part which will probably make me look a bit clueless) - I couldn't find any instructions on how to put the things together. I realize it's beyond obvious for most folks, but I'm guessing there are at least a FEW people out there who could have used a one-page drawing of what each piece is called and how they connect.Yes, I figured out that the pointy metal part faces forward. It took me an embarrassingly long minute or two to figure out that the "flights" (the 'fins' which balance the dart in the back) weren't flat, as they appeared, but needed to be folded out to make the 4-fin configuration I knew was how it was supposed to look. (I probably should have figured that part out more quickly.)The "flight protectors", on the other hand, I finally had to Google. I knew they were listed on the product description, and the only thing I couldn't identify was the little plastic "throwing star" things, so by elimination these had to be them. I had no idea what they did or how they worked, however. I finally had to Google it. (I haven't used the sharpener yet, but I'm assuming it's somewhat intuitive - if I ever try it.)Overall, this was not a big deal. No one writing the other reviews I've perused seems to have been confused, so it's very possible that either (a) I'm the only person not bright enough to manage this on my own, or (b) the set normally comes with some basic instructions and mine simply didn't include them. Now that I've assembled a few and played with them, they're wonderful. Like I said, I'm not a pro when it comes to darts - but they feel good, and I'd swear my aim has improved just by using better darts. They also look good, which is a bonus when you're just messing around.I'd love for any future reviewers to comment on whether or not I'm an outlier for wanting instructions. I won't take it personally - I promise.

Excellent Darts - Good starter set
At $14 these are a good starter set. A bit lite for me they still reliably stick. Good length in the shaft but as I mentioned the barrel is lite. It's an excellent set for beginners or for young people that what to step up there game without investing a lot of $$. Yes, these are worth the money and you can get years of use out of them. I like them.

A fairly decent set of darts at a decent price
These aren't super amazing darts by any stretch, but they are perfectly fine for typical use. I have played several games and spent a fair bit of time casually throwing them at the board, and in that time I have only had one break; it bounced off the board wire, and somehow it landed such that one of the tines that holds the flight snapped off. I guess that's probably bound to happen now and then. In the scheme of things these are still a pretty good deal for a set of darts for a beginner or a casual player who really won't benefit from spending more money for a "premium" set of darts. I really like that they have different colors so that you can still identify each player's dart even if the flights come off.

Good practice darts
These darts have a nice weight to them and are great to use for practice. The darts throw straight and don't feel cheap. All of the flights fit the plastic shafts properly and were easy to attach. They come with extra flights, flight protectors to go on the ends and a sharpener. Great value dart set.
