I’m not normally one for writing reviews but I’m impressed at the quality of this for the price paid. I was considering one of the Givi adventure top boxes but they’re the best part of £300+ which is hard to justify. This box looks the part for almost a third of the cost and comes with the base plate which Givi seems to omit now. The base plate matches the Givi options including the more awkward monokey system as a my rack is set up for.Admittedly it is plastic, but most top boxes have always been this so it’s not a concern for me. It comes with a faux leather liner thing which isn’t to my taste but it does stop things banging around and it has two useful pockets in the lidThe box comes with a back rest which I’m not interested in, some reflective stickers and crucially some keys for locking it to the base plate/locking the lid shut.I’ve seen some reviews talking about the box not being secure but the fixing points are robust and the locking point is adjustable so I assume a manufacturing issue for their cases.If you’re thinking about it, go for it.

Top box comes with a "fits all" base plate. I had to drill a few extra holes and use a couple of jubilee clips to attach it but it is pretty solid on my Honda Transalp XL750.The 42l box is just big enough for my helmet. Having said that it was a lot cheaper and looks as good as many far more expensive ones.

Build of the nice is very good.Was expecting a raw aluminium finish but it’s painted aluminium colour.The universal base mounting plate was not universal enough for my honda xl 700 transalp so had to return - none of the available holes will line up.

Nice interior, fitted easilly. Fast quick and sturdy just what I wanted.

Once everything is tighned down, it seems rock solid and looks as good as the big manufacturers
