Westcott E-30444 00 4 inch Titanium Nitride Bonded Super Soft Grip Scissor, Curved - Grey/Yellow

I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago and was so impressed with them, nice and sharp and comfy for my small hands, brilliant for both my decoupage and sewing . When the inner yellow grip came off I didn't hesitate to reorder. Sadly the design of the new pair seems to have changed slightly, they're not as pointy now. Still sharp for sewing, they even cut material. Unfortunately, not so good for my decoupage. Glad I've still got my trusty original pair, even if they are now rather uncomfortable to hold without the gripper.So overall, new design, not so good for me. But still nice scissors for the price.

These are an ideal little pair of scissors for snipping away threads and cutting small items, but not the sharpest I've ever had. I can sharpen this in my sharpener, so will not be able to use once they begin to blunt. But ok for the price, if you don't want an item to use regularly.

Bought these as replacement. Easy to use with either hand, and allow a slow (controlled) cut, rather than a sudden 'snap'

They work good. They are sharp, not the smoothest of action compared to my Fiskers that are similar but cost more, but they certainly did the job. I used them to trim around the doggo's face and it did a good job. The hair around his face is very thick in places like around his cheeks. The size of the scissors meant I could carefully snip his whiskers which were covered in crusty food remnants that would not wash off. I was able to get those little bits that curl inside his mouth as well as the scissors work well at the tips; some cheaper scissors fall down on this aspect, but these were fine. In fact I'm liking them a lot they are very flat and pointy unlike my nail scissors; I just think these Wescott scissors seem a bit better for whiskery hairs. The rather stiff action did loosen up a bit when used; they tend to make a grinding sound as well but it doesn't seem to affect the cutting. I think they are excellent for the price, they are very comfortable and secure to hold, I do recommend them, they work well and I mean look at the price: well worth it to add to your order as I did. The dog now has his own beard scissors. EDIT: Hello again, so the little yellow ring things keep slipping out of the finger holes. I mean the scissors are still usable without them but not so comfy because the bare plastic is not moulded for fingers it is just kind of raw without the rubber rings in the holes. I was using them to trim doggo's feet and they did a great job but..well I suppose I'd better order some super glue and glue the ring things in. Oh well.

Hard to find good scissors, these are excellent

This pair of scissors are so easy to use and carry around.Very sharp and very easy to hold even for me with arthritic fingers.Would buy again and certainly would recommend.
