Good value for money
This is the second one we have bought as a top up for the cold weather. Very efficient. Only complaint is that it didn’t arrive the next day as promised.

Excellent Heat!
I bought this to offset exorbitant electricity cost of heating my park home. At least I, I am using gas I already paid for. Not sitting there worrying that maybe I should hide away in bed for the winter! It is absolutely wonderful. Easy to use and to light. Hardly ever need it on full but if I do - it gives massive whack of comforting warmth. My ceiling is vaulted so no damp. I keep a monitor on in case of fumes but none so far. What a way to deal with the energy crisis.

Stylish and compact
Looks really nice - not industrial looking like some can be. Easy to operate. Belts out a good heat.

Red & Classy
This is our 2nd one - 1st (from a different supplier) was received with dents on and promptly sent back. This is cute, a lovely deep red colour. Fits in with decor. Fairly heavy (for me) when gas cylinder is attached, but is on wheels so fine.Tested it and works fine. Easy to ignite - no problem.Keeping it as an emergency back up in case heating goes off at my mum’s . This could be carried upstairs (by someone stronger than me!) as we have a bigger unit in another room downstairs.Sorted 😃Negatives: Think it’s very pricy, costs more than the bigger units - which is irritating.

Used this for a year now in the colder months.
The fire takes a 7KG gas bottle (B&M do a bottle deposit and bottle for ~£80) and then 35 ish for a refill. The only issue I had was when the thermocouple stopped working which is a common issue since a small amount of dust is enough to cause the pilot light not to stay lit. A couple of squirts of canned air was enough to clear it, a hair dryer would likely work too. Other than that, I’m very happy with it since I needed a small fire in a room with limited space.

These are the definitely the best type of stand alone heater for economy and warmth although I ran into problems with this one.
I am amending my original review as since I wrote it I have had problems with this heater. I still rate this type of heater as the best and it was a nice looking heater from the front (although the back was a bit of an eye sore compared to other heaters we've had). We have been using this type of heater for donkeys years so now how to operate them. After initially working OK, when you tried to light it and held the dial down for 10-15 seconds or even longer as soon as you released the dial the pilot light went out. We spent ages changing cylinders, trying different ones but with no success. There was also some slight confusion as it is a Mini heater meaning you would expect to use a small cylinder but the instructions with it said it took a 15kg cylinder which it clearly doesn't as a 15kg cylinder is too big to fit in the heater.I contacted the seller to return it and, unfortunately, I had to arrange my own return, something I have never done before. I was told if the heater was found to be faulty my 'return' costs would be refunded. I immediately thought "I have no proof that the heater is not working" but it had to go back and I had to take a chance. Wasted a whole morning organising a courier which cost me over £10. Then, of course, the email came back from the seller "We've tested the heater and it works perfectly so we will only refund the cost of the heater not the courier costs". Obviously, this didn't surprise me.I have since purchased a gas heater from a local shop, although I couldn't get a mini one, but I would suggest that when purchasing an item like this it is better not to purchase online as, if you have a problem, you are at the mercy of the seller who you never get to actually see.
