Excellent Keysafe!
We purchased this keysafe for our new company. With 10 employees and several locked premises, we didn't want each one of us to carry his own key. We would soon end up with lost keys, and also with big costs of replacing both keylocks and keys. So we decided on purchasing this Rottner 5329 20-Keytronic. This keysafe proved to be an excellent buy. We are storing about 6 keys and could easily accomodate double this number, although trying to store 20 keys would be a bit tight in the space provided.Apart from this, the quality seems excellent, the door is strong and steady, and overall setting up the code and master code was as easy as it can get. First try setting them was enough. The only minor negative is that the battery compartment is a bit "tight" and the batteries plastic cover doesnt stay in place. Nothing a piece of selotate cant solve and its probably on our model only.Overall, an excellent buy, very reasonably priced, seems high quality construction, and if you are looking for a keysafe then this is ideal. Simple to use, very strong, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

A good way to keep keys safe
I needed a key safe that multiple people need access to so a standard key type lock box was out. This safe has the facility to remeber two codes up to 8 digits long and has a mechanical override in the form of a key incase the batterys goes flat or you forget your codes. Programming it is simple and operation is easy. The main benifit for me with this safe is the fact that the keypad buttons are chunky rubber as opposed to the membrane types seen on other safes, I have seen what happens to membrane keypads after a while so it put me off the other ones, these buttons are nice and solid and should last for a long time. The only bad thing I found is the supplied wall fixings are not very good, so make sure you have got some of your own to mount the thing with before you start.

Good product with a few issues
The key cabinet serves its purpose. Solid exterior and OK space for the keys. A few issues to know: 1) Bolts provided are not really fit for purpose. 2) The keyboard is cheap and the rubber keys sometimes lock. 3) the key hangers (very thin metal) are difficult to fit. 4) The locking mechanism takes a lot of space inside the safe See picture!). If you want to hang e.g. car keys they will fit only in one position (i.e. flat side towards the door).

Very good key safe
Extremely sturdy and works a treat. Have had this for quite some time now, well over a year and it has never failed to do it's job. This thing is bomb proof and the electronics in it are sound. Recommended buy if you have to store many sets of keys.

Bad Design
I had to return this to amazon as I struggled to close this safe when I put my bunch of keys in it. The box behind the key pad is quite chunky, thus leaving very little space for keys when it is closed. It seems that single keys worked well but with a bunch of keys, not so much.

Secure but flawed
This could have been the perfect solution for me but its let down by a couple of issues. The build quality and finish of the cabinet is generally excellent and the keypad is easy to use and therefore not a barrier to people using it (I have no loose keys lying about the house now). The key racks are flimsy and the way they loosely clip into the cabinet slots means they often come off with your keys. The battery compartment cover keeps coming off so the batteries pop out and the safe then fails to open. This is a nuisance if you are in a hurry to go out and all your car keys are in the safe and you then have to go looking for the master key (which of course is well hidden!)The key pad is good with positive buttons and unlike other reviewers, I found the supplied fixings were perfect for securing to my masonry wall (maybe they have been improved since the earlier reviews?) The downside of the fixings is that the nuts that tighten from inside the cabinet are quite large and this prevents you from using the top few slot positions for attaching the key rack. As most keys hang down from the rack, this means that the upper space in the cabinet is wasted making it look bigger than it is and only being able to use two of the three supplied racks.Overall I am pleased with the purchase and I think it is good value but I will have to adapt the key racks and find a fix for the battery compartment cover to make it perfect.

Very happy with this
Very pleased with this. Fairly straightforward to secure to the wall and looks like it is very firmly in place. As at least one other reviewer noted, the fixing bolts get in the way of the metal keyholder shelves, which is something of a design flaw. It's not that bad but it does limit where you can place the keyholders, and I ended up not using one because I couldn't fit it anywhere. It's also a little neat in terms of space so large car keys take up a fair bit of room and if you have any fancy keyrings you might struggle a little. That said, we've got loads of sets of keys in ours and as long as you space them out a bit, the door closes no problem. And on the plus side, it means it's not a bulky unit.Overall - 5 stars and recommended.

Not as sturdy as would have liked
Been using for a few months now and bolts are starting to get stuck either locked open or locked closed
