Steel Panther, the glam rock band known for capturing the hearts of girlfriends and wives around the globe, release their new album, "Lower The Bar," their fourth studio album and follow up to 2014's chart topper, "All You Can Eat". For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums). Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n' roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world's premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks.

My first Steel Panther Vinyl
Never really listened to a full SP album before but after listening to a lot of Dokken, Cinderella, Bon Jovi etc on vinyl I thought I'd go and splash out on this album on vinyl.Excellent album. The musicianship is awesome. You can choose to ignore the lyrics and just enjoy a fantastic band or as I do burst out laughing at some of the immature lyrics.Well done guys this is a fantastic album covering lots of different bands styles.

Lower the Bar met my expectations, because I followed Satchel's advise and lowered the bar for this album. :)Always such audible songs with such good quality of musicians and sound. One 4th excellent album!

The Panther treads water - but doesn't sink!
Although not quite the classic that the first two albums were, this is still worthy and will get repeated listens. Whether the joke is over or not? That's down to personal opinion, but it still puts a smile on my face with the OTT lyrics delivered with a straight face whilst the music is as good as ever. So, as said, there's ground breakingly new here, if you've enjoyed their previous stuff - this is no different. Maybe, they'll do a prog. or thrash album next just to shake things up! The Panther treads water - but doesn't sink!LP came in a lovely gatefold sleeve with a glorious green vinyl disc. Perfect and at a bargain price, just under £14!

More of what we expect from the boys!
More of what we expect from the boys!As usual, if perfectly delivered 80's era rock is your thing, and you aren't offended by the unsubtle innuendo (to put it mildly!) then you will love this.If not, then you will hate it! But then, I doubt you would be considering this album anyway....

Great album that doesn't quite raise the bar.
Another decent album from the Steel Panther. Not quite up to the standard of their previous efforts but still on the money.
