Choose a trusted company
Very dissapointing service! Have had to buy the same device from another company as data plans do not work, according to their own technical support!! The device is all it promises to be. It comes with the sim card installed. At registration one has to buy a data plan, and these are not available from this company, they only do telephone plans, believe it or not.In the end I went personally to my trusted thechnical supplying store, where I bought the same device sold by a company that does offer no contract data plans, and it works a treat. I am sorry for the day I lost sorting this one out.

I wish I would have read the other reviews more thoroughly. The claim that it works with Total by Verizon is absolutely correct. The claim that there needs to be a phone plan, even though it's a hotspot, is true. I planned on using this as my version of a hotspot in my car for when we travel. That plan is blown to heck. I hesitate to go to another place and purchase yet another sim card to see if it works. Don't buy, waste of money.
