Great Product, Great Instructions, Great Customer Help! Would highly recommend these DRL's
Extremely good product. I looked around for weeks trying to find the right set of Daytime Running Lights to buy. I am glad I finally spent a bit more money on these. 100% worth the extra. The hardest part about these lights was deciding where to put them. They are super bright, even in bright daylight, the dimming feature works brilliantly. And there is no need to worry about control boxes as everything is built into the bulb itself. The bracket has loads of holes and sliders, this gives you perfect ability to adjust the lights after you have attached them to the car. One thing I will say here, do not over tighten the screws once they are in the bumper or they whole will grow too big and they will need replacing with bigger screws. One thing I will say is do not use a scotch lock as recommended, scotch locks are bad for electrical cables, they can damage wires and let water in. Neither of these are good for a wire such as the side light or headlight bulbs as they use a fair amount of power. Solder and heat shrink the joints properly, or find someone who can do it for you. When it comes to fitting, plan everything first, make sure you have the tools required. Make sure you have time. The last thing you want is to run all the cables and for it to start to rain, or you realise you haven’t got a drill to drill the pilot holes. Takes it slow and steady, watch some YouTube videos first and you will be fine!See my photo here:http://s1292.photobucket.com/user/thebrummyone/media/Car1_zps3c7e618c.jpg.html

FANTASTIC PRODUCT.
Have bought these lights previously for all the cars in our family. They are great value from Amazon. The look fantastic when fitted and switched on. No bother from the police either a they conform to all current legislation. Super bright during the day and save us from driving with our headlights on as we always did. They can be fitted with the supplied brackets. Depending on the car and position fitted you might find it easier t fit in the correct location with double sided tape. No more nails double sided tape sold on amazon is just perfect and never comes off until you personally take it off. Very easy to wire the lamps to the car. Small Tip. You can connect the wire that should go to the negative terminal of the battery to an earth position on the car. Any earth at all will suffice and there are lots located where the lights wiring fits through into the engine compartment of all and any cars. They are easily comparable to any more expensive fitments available by any other manufacturer. Fitted to one of my Mercedes they are more eye catching than those fitted by Mercedes at £600.00. They genuinely look like a genuine manufactured part for the car . A fantastic buy and as well as looking very appealing on the car add they add a much needed safety feature to driving the car.

Still running like new a year on
I bought these Daytime Running Lights over a year ago and they are still running like new. They are much longer than other lights on the market which can be a draw back if you are tight on room but they are supper bright. The extra LED's mean the beam is much wider and can be seen from further away than other Running light I have seen on the road.I fitted these to a Seat Ibiza which was a bit tricky and i had to cut some plastic away from the grill but every car will be slightly different. the bold provided are really strong which was a surprise and the lights have not moved or rattle and they have been on the car for over a year.I would highly recommend The Ring Lyra Running Lights if you in the market as the extra cost does seem to result in higher quality.

Lyra DRL
The light intensity could have been better. The Hella DRL or Philips DRL has a better intensity. As the other reviewer said the angling of this DRL has to be correct or it won't shine bright when viewed from the front of the car. Most modern cars have rounded front end making the correct angulation difficult. If you have a perfect flat front end then this will work. The worst part was that the switch over from the high intensity mode to low intensity mode of the DRL (after switching on the low beam light) does not work satisfactorily. This could pose a problem if you have a high intensity mode on along with your low beams at night. The cops are likely to book you. I got around this by using a separate hella relay and removing the low intensity mode altogether. Now it works only as a high intensity Day time light. At night time with low beams on the external relay shuts the DRL. The build quality is very "chinese" and I am sure you could get a similar Chinese badged product for half the price. The mounting brackets are difficult to attach. I would seriously invest in Hella or Philips even if they cost more.OK, let us fast forward it to Januari 2016, i.e. almost 6 years after my installation and review above, one of the lights stopped working. It seems the automechanism that senses the ripple charge voltage has gone kaput. So one comes on and stays on while the other one comes on but dies down after 10 seconds. I will now be buying a Philips or Osram DRL now to replace this.
