My plants are loving their lives
First time starting plants from seeds(in soil blocks) so this is a learning experience for sure. I purchased a Mars SP150 roughly a year ago that I had not been able to use until now. I profess I'm probably using it incorrectly. My tomatoes became leggy as I had the light too far away & I potted up due to the leggy seedlings. The SP150 puts off quite a bit of heat. I turned to the VG80 and things are looking great. Well packaged, well made, and you can really see the thought put into this product. Easy to assemble, and I love how the lights utilize a wire and screw type clamp to adjust height. So much nicer than chains. Unscrew the clamp, move the wire, tighten down the screw and you are done. Plants immediately perked up, and are growing on well. Heat is not an issue with these lights.Adding - 50,000 light life. Others are 30,000 or less.

Good quality grow light

Not as clean looking as the photos make it
The good. The lights work well, produce very little heat, and I had no problem daisy chaining them together.The bad. The cables are a lot messier looking than they look in the photos. For starters, they are much longer than shown. Great if you want the lights spread apart but unwieldy when the lights are close together. Also, whether you chain multiple lights together or even just run one, you’ll always have a trailing cable just hanging off the end.Also, I don't understand why they package a timer with it. Just extra trash that got thrown out, I have timers already.

I love my Mars Hydro VG40 LED grow lights
The media could not be loaded. These lights are full Spectrum and great for starting plants. Only drawing40 watts. They run cool. Overall it is priced to sell!

Must be used together.
Good light spectrum and light output, but no dimmer. I wanted them for two different houseplant areas for winter. They only work hooked together. No independent plug for second light. Won't work for my needs as I don't have a single area long enough to accommodate both in one area.
