I bought this to use as a trinket box. Somewhere to put my watch and jewellery overnight. It’s well made and the detail on the lid is remarkable for the price. The lid opens all the way back so it lies level with the base. The only thing I would have liked is something to hold the lid upright when it’s opened. It’s a bit annoying that the lid has to lean against the wall. I’m sure that I can find a fitting to do it myself. That is just a personal preference. It’s an attractive, useful box at a very good price.

This box was a delight to receive! The skill that went into making this box is evident when you get to hold and inspect the box. We purchased two boxes to present family with jewellery that my wife had made for the family. They were just what we wanted to marry the weight of the boxes and it gave the jewellery an added dimension which was much appreciated by those receiving the presents!
