Good product for sharpening woodturning chisels and gardening tools
Good product, arrived in a good time frame and well packaged. It does need mounting onto a board or workbench as otherwise it is unbalanced and will fall over. The larger wheel has quite a lot of vibration in it, and the machine is quite noisy when running. Saying this, it has just sharpened my gardening shears in a super fashion and will be put to work shortly for my woodturning chisels. For the money, this is a good value machine that does the job to a good standard, and I am pleased that I did not spend the extra on something like a Tormek.

Good enough for light work.
Grinder works and will sharpen knives and light items. Larger items or harder steel labours the motor. Meaning light pressure is required. This means it takes longer to grind some things. The motor get very hot after a few minutes of very light or even feel running. Like the title says it is ok for small drills, knives, scissors, chisels etc... nothing much more. The 8" grinding wheel is good quality, however the 6" wheel is a little soft and I fear will wear quickly. still for the price good enough

Cheap and cheerful, puts an edge on knives and equipment
Required mounting to something. I mounted it to a pallet for a semi-portable option. It was put an edge on kitchen knives, a machete and a few other bits. Will be used for lawnmower and strimmer blades. Is probably a bit of a sledgehammer approach for fancy pocket or kitchen knives, but if you are careful you shouldn't ruin anything. The plug / bung in the bottom of the water trough is the one annoying thing - it keeps coming out and is not easy to put back in.

2 to 3mm side run out of wheels!
On unpacking the grinder which does look great I plugged it in and turned it on, the wheels started wobbling alarmingly! I turned the grinder off immediately to check the wheels, they were fully tight as supplied but run out of the side edge measured 2.5 to 3mm! This must have been seen by the individual that assembled it so I can only presume they didn't give a $#!?!. The grinder was returned for refund, really disappointing as Wolf years ago was a good make but now made in China and is unsafe to use.

Not a good product
The bench grinder vibrates badly even after I put rubber under it still vibrated. The guides to rest on when grinding keep coming loose as do the clear spark protectors. Have gone back to my 30 year old one
