Comfy pants
My wife says they look like a soggy diaper in the wind, but I think they look cool. They are by FAR the most comfortable style of pants I own. Breezy in the wind, stretchy, and wonderful. Great for lounging around the house, parkour, karate, exercise, or pajama day at work. I love these pants. As a 6 foot tall man, they are not quite long enough to bunch around my ankles, but they make good baggy capri pants as well as shorts if you tuck up the ankle band. The adjustable waist tie is great for when your kids tug on your pants.

Wow! Super friggin comfy pants!
For real, these are some of the most comfy pants I have ever worn. Now granted, I am an amply curvy, plus sized gal who experiences quite a bit of chub rub (hah, that phrase is hysterical!) But, if you wear these with some boy shorts, they are some of the best lounging pants around, and the chafing won't be a problem. I wear them pretty high up, so if you don't have a smaller waist to booty ratio, these may be out of your size range. However, it IS possible to remove the elastic and refit the drawstring if needed. You will need some sewing know-how, though, so if that's too much work, there ARE properly plus-size harem pants elsewhere. For me however, these are a rough cotton that is the perfect thickness, with a cute-as-heck print, that sit on my proper waist just fine without fitting awkwardly. Bravo. I am gonna need more pants of this style, now.Bonus for the crafty: once these get worn to shreds, patching them up is going to make them look even cooler.

comfortable and cute
These pants are great for muggy hot summers to wear at home, to lounge in and to wear when running errands. These particular pants from the Chiangmai Thai Shop are very well made and quite sturdy, but the cotton is lightweight, yet opaque. They feel a bit stiff and a little scratchy right out of the package, but after one wash the material is soft and comfortable. I hand wash or machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with a mild detergent and LINE DRY to minimize shrinkage and fading, (- they are 100% cotton, prone to shrinking.)They are offered in several colors and interesting patterns. The waist is easily adjusted with the tie; the "one size" (S/M) fits me well, (5'4", 130 lbs.) They get much wear, - my go to pants, during the warm/hot months.

At this price, I’ll buy more.
I have purchased these pants while traveling in Thailand and Spain. I was hoping (based on the photos) that these would be a little bit heavier (like the ones I bought in Spain), but they are quite thin. As you can see in one photo, you can see daylight through BOTH layers when held up to the light. Still, they don’t seem to be see-through when you put them on. They are breezy and comfortable. I’m 5’10 and 265, and I usually wear a 40 waist. I bought the XXL that is supposed to fit up to a 48” waist and they fit fine. I have lots of room in the waist, yet the elastic is tight enough that they won’t fall down if left untied. Overall, I’m happy with the fit and the price. I hope they hold up in the washer, because some clothing I’ve bought in Thailand doesn’t hold up very well. It’s a very hit or miss thing. The pockets are external, and do not have anything to keep your stuff from falling out. The pockets are plenty large enough for my iPhone XS Max.

One size
I love the quality and feel, but I got the wrong size. I intended to get one size but accidentally got xl. I still wear them and will be getting others. Thank you!

Pretty okay, not my favorite harem pants.
Fabric is nice, definitely not see-through so that’s a plus. I was hoping they would be baggier, I’m 5’9” 260lbs and a size women’s 18 and they are just a little less baggy than they should be (I got the l-xxxl) but they are still comfortable and wearable. The asymmetrical sewing kinda throws me off (there’s a seam down the front of one pant leg but not the other) but if you can forget about it it’s not a big deal. Overall ok. I prefer the candy husky plus size cotton pants, the fabric is a little thinner but they are roomier and symmetrical.

YARD WORK MUST HAVE
Live out in a cleared wooded area. Yard work is not your average mow the grass pick up sticks and trim a hedge. There is a lot to do and there are a lot of hazards I'm the way of you doing it (hidden hornet nests, snakes, and other things). So my preferred method of tank top, shorts and flip.flops are not really a good idea to wear out there (learned it the hard way). I looked online at this pair, and others from amazon and could not make a decision so I bought a few here and there to try and see. These ones won. They don't tear when you slide off the mower sweat soaked and nasty (thank God live away from people or my bare ass be visible to all in the other brands I purchased). They stay away from my body nicely and allow for the air to pass buy. They are elastic not only in the waist but on the ankles as well (a MUST when dealing with hidden hornets). Not saying they are sting proof (not tested that and hopefully won't have to) but they will not allow for those mean buggers to climb up somewhere they not suppose to be.The pockets are nice but since they only have an elastic waist you cannot put to much in them before they want to fall down (my phone alone after awhile tends to make them slip down). They are not silky soft like the other ones out there, but they won't tear when you put them on nor when you actually use pants how you are suppose to (not treat them as an infant that needs protection from everything). They are not ugly but I don't see you winning a fashion award anytime soon with them. They just are good pants that seem to be as tough as Jean's but a fraction of their weight. These are a must have for yardwork. My only wish is that they were a little longer. Stop at a little above my ankles and sometimes come out of my boots.

Good Enough for the Price
Have been wearing these constantly. The pattern allows for a wide stance without the legs riding up and the fabric is coarse but lightweight so even in hot temperatures it stays pretty cool. The pockets unfortunately needed a little reinforcement because the stitches came undone a bit, and they are located almost exactly at your sides, which means you usually end up sitting half on the pockets until you pull the sides up. Regardless, I have gotten tons of compliments on these.
