DERNORD Fixed Spray Ball Stainless Steel 304 Tank Cleaning Ball 3/4" NPT Threaded

Solid construction but I used it for a project not a sprinkler. Might one day.

I bought this SS spray ball to help clean a tank at work to make the task easier. It worked great and we are using it every time we wash this fairly large vessel. The product was well made of 304 stainless steel. It has a fixed spray pattern that covers 360 degrees if you have the water pressure needed to get a strong spray you will be very happy with this product. I will purchase more of these so that I have spares as these are misplaced at the plant. The cost of the product was very cheap, I recommend that you take the time to apply Teflon tape to the threads of your fittings being used, SS threads are known to gald easily if cross threaded.

I purchased this spray ball to make a recirculating mash setup on my brew kettle. I drilled a hole thru my kettle lid and have this ball threaded directly onto a stainless steel quick disconnect that's sticking thru to the outside of the lid. I haven't yet used it but I don't foresee any issues with it. I bought this style specifically because I wasn't looking to get a fine mist spray, but rather more of a sprinkle. I anticipate that this'll suffice nicely.I did make sure to give this a good soak in Oxiclean to get it ready for use and I'm glad I did. I don't know if it was just oil or some kinda manufacturing residue, but a decent amount of black.... stuff came out. The spray ball was nice and shiny after rinsing and I have no reservations about using it, but I'd definitely suggest giving it a good soak or cleaning before using.

It's the middle of winter with 16 inches of snow and ZERO degrees Fahrenheit outside, so the only way to test it is indoors... with a 1/2" NPT x G1/2 Male to Male nipple (fitting, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BH70E6E) you can connect this to a handheld shower hose; you will get over 300 degrees of high pressure jet spray! You can use it with the faucet handle in combination with an inline shutoff switch (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CH28MPS) to reduce the pressure to desired flow. It's sure to clean out any barrel or hard-to-clean receptacle. It's made of durable and sanitary polished alloy 304 Stainless Steel. Girfriend also gives it a big thumb's up!

God forbid they put the ball diameter on the listing so people would know. The ball is 2" diameter (50mm). the one with the 1/2" npt. It's just way too big for me...I need it to clean back sprayer tanks. I wish there was a small one, I did see and 3/8 npt but I'm guessing that ball is too big also. I'm also guessing this thing needs alot of pressure to operate right.

I know this is used for cleaning but I use it in my brew kettle biab setup for keeping the mash agitated with my recirrulation pump. Just and idea i had and it works great.

Works exactly as it’s supposed to. Perfect for sparging mash. Have used for at least a dozen brew days and still looks brand new.

We use this to sparge our mash on a 5bbl system. Works great and disperses the wort over the grain bed.
