I don't know how they do it but, I have a couple other Lekato devices...guitar wireless and a couple of clip on rechargeable tuners. All are excellent devices and are a great value! Nice, clear and bright display on all of them including this tuner.

I was skeptical about this device being it's so inexpensive. But I plugged it in and it works great. The display is well lit and easy to read, and the device is nice and small and barely takes up any room on my pedal board. I also love how it didn't change the signal or add any noise to my amp, and turning it on and off with the foot pedal is silent. No pops or noises heard in the amp when engaging the tuner.

This unit does work, if you are willing to wait for it to find the frequency. Sometimes it responds promptly, sometimes it takes a while, sometimes not at all. I've already replaced it with one that works quickly and accurately. It was cheap. You get what you pay for. Spend a little more and get a good one.

The description says, "no noise".. not true! This needs to be unplugged because I get bad buzz and scratch distortion on the higher tones, especially on clean channel.The only way I can use it is to unplug it from the pedal series when not in use.
