ghd Air Hair Dryer - Salon-Finish, 2X Faster Dying, Reduced Frizz - for All Hair Types (UK Plug)

We bought a generic high speed salon quality hair dryer for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was WAY too strong for us - so much so that the powerful air stream would tangle our fine thin long hair into knots we had to cut out (never before seen issue). I sent it back and settled to buy the original GHD that I always wanted, not a generic imitaiton.I don't like it - i LOVE GHD blowdryer! The speed and heat settings are enough for both my fine and long, as well as my daughter's thicker hair. Leaves the shine and controls frizz - we just need to learn all about how to operate the nozzles we received!I'd say this one's a keeper for years to come!!

Hair dryer is very comfortable to hold and has good selection of heat settings. Build quality is excellent and the air flow is great for drying hair speedily without it going crazy. My hair is thick and wayward and it coped superbly. I didn’t need maximum heat setting either. The nozzle allows for the air to be directed to the roots.My initial delivery went astray and full marks to Amazon, it was replaced without a quibble. Thank you Amazon Customer Service. You were ace! Now I have tried my hairdryer out - it is even more appreciated!

Super GHD quality but is heavier and bigger than you think. Has all the attachments that you need and good tamp settings. Great speed settings and isn’t too noisy. Great functional product which will last.

Brilliant hairdryer, I hate the effort of blow drying my hair,but I used my daughter in law's and found it amazing so I got one for myself. Whenever I've used a hairdryer in the past it's been difficult and so time consuming and has left my hair so dry and frizzy. But not this one

Unusual review as I bought to use as a body dryer after a shower to see as body dryers £400-500 upwards.But using it for that I find it powerful, plenty warm enough nd start on warmest then reduce to lower setting. It's powerful nd again start on strongest nd finish on lower setting. it shifts droplets of water off skin easily (I do quick pat dry with micro towel first) the droplets I missed with towel first. It takes about 3-4 mins to dry off so think if just for hair would be very quick even long hair. only design I find awkward is heat strength button too far up the handle just to click with thumb, you have to use your left hand so inconvenient nd I assume a lady doing her hair might have a brush or something in her other hand so even more awkward.

This is the first fancy hairdryer I've ever owned and, my goodness, you really do get what you pay for.The packaging is gorgeous, obviously, and the hairdryer itself is beautiful to look at. Bit weird to say that about a hairdryer but there it is.It dries my hair in, truly, half the time my last one did (a middling Babyliss one), and it leaves my hair shinier and flippier... after using this my hair is flicky, which is super.The reason I wanted to leave this review, though, is there was *one* slight issue with the attachment that comes with it. Its opening is a wide slit (presumably so you can create a narrow, forceful stream of air) and when I used it, it got so hot I couldn't touch it. It got so hot I was worried it was going to melt, so that came off straight away. It's just something to bear in mind if you need it for styling.Assuming you're good to go with the hairdryer as is, though, with no attachments needed, it's absolutely brilliant. The cord is long, too, so if you're going to be drying your hair a way away from the plug socket, it won't hamper you any... I think it's about 6ft, which is great.It's upwards of £80 which is an awful lot of money for a hairdryer, absolutely, but it's more gentle on the hair, dries it fully twice as fast, feels like it will last forever, and is actually a pleasure to use so I think it's worth every penny.
