Worked as advertised. No issues due to mSATA adapter.
Used it on a Eee PC 901 with a "Kingshark Gamer mSATA 128GB". Works great. If you want no bios warnings on boot, remove or replace the 4GB Asus SSD that shipped in it. This basically requires disassembly of the entire thing below the screen. If you're kept reading this far into this review, this product may be for you.

Works perfectly for Asus Eee PC 900A
Bought this to upgrade the storage on my old Eee PC 900A that I found in my closet. It only had a 4GB mPCIe drive from Asus that was very slow and simply not enough space to run a modern OS. This adapter fit perfectly in the mPCIe slot, and I purchased a separate 256GB mSATA SSD to slot into it. The mobo recognized it without any issues, and it works like a charm with the Linux-based OS I installed on the SSD.

Works with EEEPC 701SD
Although it isn't listed in the description, it works perfectly in an ASUS EEEpc 701SD.

Does work on old Asus EEE PC 701
Tried this on an old Asus EEE PC 701 and Linux is able to see the msata disk but after a while it always gets errors and can never finish an OS install.

Did not boot
This product did not seem to work. But, I don’t know is it was a faulty adapter or the drive was faulty
