TORRO Leather Case Compatible with iPhone X/iPhone XS – Genuine Leather Wallet Case/Cover with Card Holder and Stand Function (Black)

A nicely presented case, with magnetic closure, protects without blocking access to controls. I ride a motorcycle, and my phone often gets knocked, but this case gives good protection without awkward bulk or weight. The phone fitted snugly, but without forcing, and the construction quality is high, so I foresee a long duty life. And its looks are good enough for the executive types, and modern enough in style to look good if you are being bohemian. The little bull accent on the front lower right cover makes it easy to get the phone out right way up for use.

I have used TORRO products before and have a black with red stiched leather case for my iPhone 7 so knew I had to have a TORRO case for my new iPhone X.Other peoples covers I have seen are no way close to the quality and premium feel of TORRO cases - you can smell the real leather and the quality feels so good in the hand.I went for dark brown leather this time and it's the best yet. I especially like the new locked in frame as there is no way my fragile X is going to slip out of this case, yet it is still so slim in my pocket.I was initially concerned at some of the negative comments about it being hard to remove the phone from the case but I have tried it using the described technique and it literally takes me 2 seconds to remove. I don't understand what people are suggesting in terms of sore fingers which I think is exaggerated.This is a very protective and functional yet removable case and is their best case yet!

Great fit for the iPhone as solved my problem when carrying only my bank card and phone with me. At first I was concerned with the increased weight when compared to my old iPhone case, but I have got used to it and its no problemThe case is very well made and the red stitching and bulls head, which is recessed adds a touch of class.I had forgotten when I purchased it that its cover fold to form a stand, this works really well.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I nearly bought a card holder/ case from my original manufacturer; but I am so chuffed I saw this Torro.I don't think anyone would be disappointedI read one review and the only complaint was that they couldn't get the phone out of the case as it fitted so well. I have just removed it - the case sides are very flexible and the iPhone corner easily pops out. Where's the problem. Better to have a perfectly tight fit - stops dust and debris getting in and causing scratches.

For the money this is a superb case to protect the all glass iPhone X, it has a slot in the front cover for credit cards, though this may affect the magnetic closure. There is also a pocket, which can be used for an emergency fiver or tenner, fifty if you’re loaded. The leather is first class and the case very well made. As for holding the phone securely, don’t it ever. After fighting to get mine out of the case, I contacted Torro for advice, customer services were second to none, extremely helpful, and they provided a helpful link to YouTube to show how to release the case. (Thankyou William at Torro)It doesn’t restrict wireless charging, which I was initially worried about due to the thickness of the leather, but it works fine. I had Torro cases on my earlier iPhones, whilst the won’t last for ever, they are the best cases I’ve tried so far, especially for the price. Well recommended.

UPDATE Feb 2018:Have raised from 3 stars to 4, as I am no longer having issues with wireless charging through this case - I had two faulty chargers previously that have now been replaced and wireless charging is fine with the case on.However, the case I have doesn't seem to be as durable as previous Torro cases, with the inside of the case looking tired already after only a few months of usage.Phone calls are still an issue with cases of this type despite the advice of flattening the case completely back (which is difficult to do anyway).ORIGINAL:As with all Torro cases/wallets, the quality of the stitching and leather is high.Sadly, as this particularly model has magnets in the cover, these magnets interfere with the iPhone X’s microphone and image stabilisation.To make calls you have to let the cover flap down, meaning that you can only make calls with your left ear! If you bend the cover back, the magnets mess with the microphone and the other person cannot hear you.The iPhone X has a great image stabilisation feature but I find photos are sharper when I take the phone out of the case. Also the flash is reflected back on to the lens slightly but not as bad as my previous Torro wallet for the iPhone 6.Wireless charging doesn’t work particularly well either through this case despite claims to the contrary.It’s a strong protective case though and keeps the phone very tight - maybe a little too difficult to get it out!I’m giving it 3 stars because I’m still using the case and probably will for now despite the flaws. Still love being able to have my cards, phone and cash all in one place.

I've always admired the Torro cases. They just have a quality and feel about them which makes them stand out from other cases I've tried.I've tried one other folio style case for my phone - this one feels slightly more bulky by comparison, but that isn't really a problem.Unlike some other cases of this type, access to the power / volume buttons is via cutaways, not *through* the case, which makes them much easier and nicer to use.This case simply looks and feels fantastic, and is absolutely the best iPhone case I've tried to date. It also feels a lot more expensive than it actually is.
