Fantastic gift!
Charming little music box! Polished red wood with a shiny finish, sturdy construction. Plays a sweet tune in a beautiful arrangement. Almost as impressive as the music box, though, was the presentation! I'm serious when I say that I'm not sure I've ever seen a more professionally-wrapped present. This music box came in a nice cardboard box, which was covered with a very sophisticated-looking wrapping paper in Eiffel Tower print, done up with a perfectly-tied bow made from purple satin ribbon. Wow. A job well done, thank you so much!

The last note annoys me somehow!
The media could not be loaded. First of all, this little music-box is well-made and almost perfect for me. The last note just irks me so much i had to remove one star. Like why do you have to make an uncomfortable high pitched 🎶dink🎶 on the end? I felt like it ruined the song. Damn.

great for half-song
Apparently all of these smaller boxes (I looked at alternatives) have the notes encoded on a (correspondingly) small roller and can only play about 20 seconds. I got the first half of Greensleeves, and it was a good half. Being ignorant of the limitations, I kinda expected to get the whole song, which I guess would go for 40 or 50 seconds. However, for the low price and the nice small size, I am happy with this box

Beautiful box but the tune's a little fast
The box comes beautifully wrapped and was happy to find the writing is gold rather than just pale. It's a lovely little box. The melody does play a bit fast however so doesn't sound as nice as I was hoping.
