EasyCover Silicone Armor Skin Case Cover Protector for Nikon D5500 / D5600 Camera - Black

A bit of a worry to stretch it over the camera but have confidence it'll be okay.A good fit on the camera and looks smart.Should keep camera body in excellent condition and add some degree of protection.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had ordered my new D5500 and wanted to naturally protect it as much as possible so went on the search for accessories and came across this. Reviews were good so took the plunge and it arrived quickly. Really well made and the silicone/rubberised case is very strong and fits the camera like a glove. Highly recommended!

Perfect fit and feels comfortable to hold. Should protect camera well from minor bumps and scratches.

This wasn't for me, robust and if you know where exactly your buttons etc on camera are then its fine,

Bought this based on the high reviews, unfortunately, I found the product to be of very poor quality when I received it.Pros:- The cover fits the Nikon D5600 fairly well and is very easy to install.- The included screen protector and micro fibre cloth are a nice bonus.- The silicone is nice and grippy, so you can be fairly confident you will be able to keep a hold of the camera, even if it is raining/snowing etc.- The silicone is quite thick in certain areas so would protect the camera if dropped, however, this isn't present everywhere so I don't think it would provide adequate protection overall.Cons:- While the installation is easy and the fit is ok, there are areas that are flimsy and hang loosely from the cover.- I had to remove a lot of extra flashing (thin pieces of silicone) from the edges of openings. Not something I expect from a product costing this much.- On the D5600, the shutter speed/aperture dial on the right is recessed deeply into the camera. The cover impedes access to this as the thumb rest overlaps it slightly.- The hot shoe cover is an odd design choice as if you have anything attached to it, microphone/spirit level/flashgun then that section of the cover is pushed back and makes access to the viewfinder cumbersome.- The viewfinder focus dial is also almost completely covered.- Access door for microphone and accessories is also made difficult to access. Instead of just leaving an opening there is a thin flap of silicone, this just gets in the way and becomes awkward.Overall, I would not recommend this as it makes using the camera more difficult and cumbersome. Any quick access you had before is removed with the addition of this cover. It will add extra grip and light protection from elements but the fairly loose fit and poor design choices for access to ports and buttons make it unusable for me.

Great kit . Little bit fiddly when using the bolt on power pack. Does what it says on the tin.
