Q: How thick/deep is the pad?

4mm thick with the adhesive backing, so a tad under 4mm in total I'd say.

Q: Can you adhere this directly on inner heel area of the shoe? Don't want to have to wear this on my skin each time I want to wear the shoes.

Yes you can. I lined all my high heeled sandals with this moleskin and wore my shoes without any rubbing or blisters. It is a great product.

Q: Could you use this as a dressing over dissolvable stitches?

No, I don't think you can. best to ask the nurse at your local surgery I think. the back of the mole skin is adhesive and would stick right on to the stitches, not sure that would be a good idea. I use the mole skin mainly for lining bits of shoes that rub and it prevents blisters. eg straps to strappy sandals and heels that have seams with raised stitching. It is totally brilliant for that! Hope that helps

Q: Is this real mole skin?

No - it’s like super soft plaster. I stick it on the inside of shoes where it rubs. It lasts ages like this. But most people stick it on their skin. It’s very thin but I love it. It’s hard to find in shops so stick with Amazon to get it.
