Found It!
I looked over reviews for many iPod stations and found mixed reviews on every one of them. I bought this for my bedroom so that I could listen to calming music from the iPod when I went to bed. The sound is great, it is simple to use with clear directions and I LOVE the fact that it has a remote so I can choose to turn it up or down, on or off from my bed since it is placed across the room. It is a decent size without being too big and has a nice, sleek appearance. I am no audio junkie, so the high tech people out there might disagree, but for the average person (like me) I think it is a great deal price-wise, and great sounding, too, so I recommend you go for it.

OK product at this price
The sound quality is just ok at this price. However, the remote controller has difficulty to control my ipod touch. Won't recommend to buy.

logitech ipod station
The product for the cost is not bad. Sound quality is acceptable and it can be portable with batteries. However, the product was shipped from Hardware Cooling and the remote does not work well. The buttons do not consistently work. I notified them of this issue but they did nothing to rectify my complaint. Otherwise, it is easy to use and operate.

Great sound for the price.
I bought this for my wife and her 3rd gen iPod touch after reading many other reviews not only here on Amazon but on other sites as well. The sound is good. There are other speaker systems for the iPod that sound much better, but those are more attuned to the audiophiles. I would like to have had the Acoustic Research Tabletop Radio with Docking Station for iPod and MP3 Players system, but the size was too large for our use as well as the cost at this time.My wife loves the ease as to which this Logitech system lends itself for use and for the sound that it produces. She also loves the portability aspect. She intends to use this at work and at home, so the battery and AC power hookups are great for her. The universal docks are great to use and apple includes the right dock for your ipod in the original case that the ipod came in. The video out is only a composite video connection, not good for HD material of even really good SD pictures, but will work in a pinch at someone elses house if you are visitin. The dock does not work with Gen 3 or earlier ipods, you will have to use the included 1/8in. stereo connection cable to hear your music and that won't charge your ipod either. The system will charge all newer ipods, including the gen 3 ipod touch, not sure about the newest nanos, I don't have one so I have no first hand experience for those. I have read other reviews stating that it does not, but you will need to do some more research to verify that this system will work with the newest nanos.Overall, my wife and I are very satisfied with this system and would recommend it for general use for listening, if you want great audiophile sound, I would recommend the Acoustic Research Tabletop Radio with Docking Station for iPod and MP3 Players instead, but there is a big price difference, function difference and size difference as well.

Light and sleek, Great Sound for the Price!
I recently bought this unit as a gift for under $70. I took it for a test drive just to make sure it worked and I must say that I was very impressed - was even thinking about keeping it for myself!Anyhoo, as far as appearance goes it's very sleek/sophisticated looking, not like some of the goofy ipod-systems I've seen out there. It's also fairly compact and lightweight so if u DO need to carry it around, you won't have to pack/insulate it in the original packaging box (my friend has to do this with his Bose system b/c of its shape). As others have observed, the sound quality is fairly rich and full at low to medium volumes (great for a bedroom). However, as you increase the volume higher and higher, the bass gets a little distorted and it starts to sound a bit hollow (not great for a living room). But given the price I paid, I still think I made off like a bandit!!

Great for the price
The audiostation is great for the price. It is small easy to pack and carry around and requires only 6 AA batteries that last a long time. good for the pool and picknicks. the sound quality is not as crisp or as loud as a boes system. but wont break your budget like one either

Great value!
I've been searching for awhile for and iPod docking station to use at my outdoor wedding. I've read a lot of reviews and listened to many different speakers at several stores. I was going to buy the Logitech Pure-Fi Express speakers when I stumbled across these speakers for half the price. So far I'm happy with the sound quality and volume. They're not tinny sounding like some of the other cheaper speakers. There's a little bit of bass there, but not too much. It's nice to have the remote because someone will have to operate it at the ceremony. Plus it comes with a protective case and can run on batteries! These are the perfect, low cost speakers.
