6.35mm 1/4 Inch Mono Jack Female Socket to Female Socket Coupler/Joiner/Connector

I bought this coupler to use with the real tone cable that comes with the Rocksmith video game. I figured I'd plug a standard guitar lead into one end and the real tone into the other so that the standard lead takes any stresses or strains rather than the real tone which is more expensive to replace. To that end it all works well and does what I wanted it to. It feels pretty sturdy and solid and the sound doesn't suffer in any way (to my ears anyway) so I'm very happy with it.

There is no signal at all when attempting to use this adapter (all cables used for testing work perfectly).

Functional and solid. One star off because it is not the knurled finish pictured, but instead smooth chrome. Not a functional thing, but I think with distance selling the pictures should be accurately representative, (and I was hoping it would unscrew for the inevitably repairs that are likely for items bought for teens - it doesn't)Works well so far with no crackle, and a nice weight and sturdiness

For the price its ok, but I have to sat that it is not the tightest of fits and the jacks can easily come apart, my solution has been to just tape the plugs in, this works but if you need to remove and refit the jacks often then the fit could be better. Ive not taken one apart yet to see if there is a way of making it a tighter fit, but until it starts to give me problems I wont bother. Good for the price, and it works without any cracking, but you do have to be aware of it being used.Sorry but I have had to put in this update. After using this coupler a few times, I have found that not only has it gone very loose fitting it also now has a very poor connection which in turn makes it crackle and pop and totally unusable unless you tape the plugs in tightly. It is, I'm afraid, a complete waste of time and money, its a cheap price and a cheap item that I would only use as a one off emergency solution until you can purchase a longer cable. Save your money and buy the cable instead.

I needed a way to connect 2 lengths of pa speaker cables and having read the reviews for this product I was hoping the connections would be secure to avoid crackle through the pa. This connector is so handy I might get another.Some reviewers said the connectiohs were loose but I've found them to be very secure - whether through a lot of use they might loosen up we'll have to see but to be honest it's cheap enough to throw away (no, recycle) and buy another.In conclusion I would highly recommend this connector to anyone who needs to quickly join two speaker cable to extend a run, and hey, why not get a couple!

another very well priced and incredibly useful product that I have which allows you to use two cables that either have the 6.3mm jack or an adapter for it allowing you to have a longer cable effectively.It's very useful to combine a lead that's say 5m long with a y splitter cable as those often are very short. (say a 3.5mm/6.3mm to dual rca (red and white). If using a 3.5mm jack (as most y splitters do) will need a 3.5mm female to 6.3mm male adapter (also another great buy)For any audio enthusiast, i'd recommend one or two handy.

These were clearly faulty as they simply did not work! When connected, they did not pass through any audio whatsoever. Tested them side by side against a pair that were purchased elsewhere, which did work, in order to demonstrate that the problem didn't lie elsewhere in the signal chain. Garbage, but cannot be bothered to go through the rigmarole of trying to get re-imbursed for a £2.78 item. Do not buy, you will be wasting your money!

Not a very tight fit. Can be an intermittent connection if moved.
