Great product, reduced staining and improved gum health
I’ve had this for around 18 months and it’s still working well. I try to use it once a day. It has reduced staining and my gums feel healthier when I stick to using it every day. Some people are unhappy it doesn’t warm the water, I just use the water from the hot tap to get it to a bearable temperature. If you knew how many filthy bacteria live in our mouths, spitting out some water from the hot water system wouldn’t phase you.Good pressure, lots of attachments, good reservoir size, decent build quality.Game changer for bleeding gums.

Had one before. Waterpik is the best.
The Waterpik I had many years ago was not quite so daunting. I just had a Kitty oral irrigator which was much more basic but eventually broke. I had an expensive cordless flosser (another brand) but had to continuously fill it up and dreaded using it.I’m finding this countertop Waterpik excellent. Helpline included. Clear instructions but essentially have to experiment with caution as very powerful. Lots of picks.I feel it’s value for money because it’s a respected brand I’m familiar with. It had become tiresome buying different size manual picks and hoping you’re doing it right. I still floss because my teeth are very close together. I have lots of crowns/root canals. And I don’t want any more. This blasts any food particles away. Teeth definitely feel clean. 😁

Excellent
Apart from annoying price fluctuations, this is an excellent product that is exactly as described and super easy to use. It's worth the £69 paid.Don't expect to view your teeth in the mirror DURING the water flossing - you can enjoy the view AFTER using the water floss. Keep your mouth mostly closed to prevent water from spraying all over and look downwards slightly so that the water can trickle from your mouth into the sink/basin. While using the water floss, you can watch the food bits ejected and watch the water level in the reservoir to estimate how much time you have left before the water runs out to finish your dental cleaning. It can be shared at home (within & with hygiene limits), making it highly economical.Water floss cannot replace string floss but this is an excellent addition to one's daily dental routine:Electric Toothbrush + String Floss + Water Floss + MouthwashYou can skip some string floss sessions when you use the water floss at higher water speeds of 8-10, but should still floss at least once every 2 days for optimal dental hygiene. It's great using the water floss after every meal and before you head out of the house and have to wear a face mask (so you don't have to inhale the consequences of a dirty mouth).Start at the LOWEST setting. Gradually increase the speed and get accustomed to it, before finding the highest water speed setting that you can comfortably handle.Lower speeds below 5 are suited for massage and rinsing rather than proper cleaning.Water speed 8-9 seems like the best compromise between effectiveness and comfort. At maximum speed 10, there is quite a bit of spraying on your face and the surroundings and it's a bit overwhelming and slightly painful for some.If you have enough bathroom space & seek to purchase just 1 water flosser (for the time being at least) - I suggest purchasing this counter-top model rather than the portable/travel type which is generally less effective despite being quite bulky for a handheld device and costs around the same or more.If you don't have enough bathroom space - consider using this at your kitchen sink instead.

Hard to improve on such a brilliant design
Waterpik is one of the few manufacturers to get approval by dental professionals. Quite honestly, I’ll never trust anyone else when it comes to water jet flossing - it’s a technique that wateepik claims removes a far higher percentage of plaque than by just thread-based flossing. Don’t take my word for it, look it up for yourself. The quality of the product is fantastic, it has 10 water pressure levels, multiple water flossing heads, as well as a huge water reservoir so you should never need to top up during a water flossing routine. My one tip would be to use mildly warm water rather than cold water- I just find this makes it even more pleasant if the water is slightly warm. This professional model hasn’t changed much in recent years, simply because it’s hard to improve on such a well designed product. I will never use anything else.

Cannot Recommend Enough
Absolutely brilliant unit, whilst living in America I had extensive dental work done and the dentist immediately recommended a Waterpik to me and I’ve been using one for the past 10 years. There are other brands on the market but Waterpik is by far and away the best there is.The unit is small and lightweight and takes up minimal room, you can adjust the water flow easily to the setting that is comfortable to you.Have not experienced any leakage since upgrading to this model with daily use .There is no need for batteries and this plugs into the mains so is better that battery operated models. My dental health is tip top due to this unit, easy and efficient to use.Excellent value for money - especially with the cost of dental care, cannot recommend enough.
