If like me you are trying to solve a Macbook Pro late 2016 USB connection to your monitor, then this is what you need! The Apple Thunderbolt adaptor on their web site is ONLY for thunderbolt and doesn't do Displayport. External monitor connected and running at 2560 x 1440 no problem with other options of 1080i and 720p, all using a 60 Hz refresh rate (as opposed to 30Hz). I "think" the HDMI type adaptors will only run at 30Hz which won't work with most monitors, hence I went for this one. Only been using it for a day or so but faultless so far.

This is the only USB-C to DP cable I recommend to clients. Cheaper brands often don't work, reduce image quality or sometimes even heat up and fail over time.It can manage better than the spec advertised. Have it currently running UHD 4K, 10-bit, HDR, 144 Hz.

I've owned two other USB-C->Displayport cables from generally good brands, but both suffered from the screen blacking out/flickering when using the cable between by 2019 MacBook Pro and older 4k monitor (Dell P2415Q). I was doubtful the cable was to blame and was on the verge of getting a USB-C monitor just to get around it, but I thought I'd give this a try first.Absolutely rock solid so far after 3 months of heavy use, frequently plugging, unplugging and moving around. The monitor lives on!A bit pricey compared to other brands, but it's well worth it to be rid of the flicker.

I bought this cable to connect in the opposite direction - from a DisplayPort output to a USB C monitor import. I know this is not the specified direction for this cable but I ended up buying it because it was supposed to be among the few that can do it. I don't remember how I got this information (it mentioned my exact display model though) so I cannot provide a reference ATM. But sadly, it doesn't work like that.Still, it does work in the regular direction - from USB C output to DisplayPort input. I managed to connect my Samsung Galaxy S10+ to two different displays and it worked on both. The three stars, then, are for the cable being too expensive - basically twice as expensive as other cables with the same specs. 25 quid is too much for 1.8m cable of this kind! I only paid the price because I though it's among the few that work in the other direction - then the price would have been justified because it would add a second regular DisplayPort input to my 4k display.

This cable works with Eizo monitors, where other cheaper ones don’t. Advised by an Eizo technician, this cable plugs straight into an iMac with thunderbolt 3 ports or through a LaCie 2Big with a DisplayPort connection, if you need to keep the thunderbolt port free for another hard drive. Happy colour grading 🤓

Very expensive compared to other brands and I am not sure whether or not the price difference is justified. Bought due to Eizo recommending it and to be honest, spending a modest amount on a cable when you’ve spent a lot on a monitor makes sense. Picture quality with Eizo is great.

Hola, buscaba un cable para conectar mi nuevo Mac Mini M1 con un monitor que tiene una conexion display port.El tamaño de 1 metro me era perfecto para mi caso, pero a lo mejor a ti te va corto y tienen otra medida mas larga.Evidentemente funciona perfectamente y tiene un precio razonable ya que este tipo de conectores tienen un precio elevado por el tipo de conector que utilizan, pero es lo que hay.Si te hace falta lo mismo que a mi, te recomiendo este cable sin dudas.Espero que te sea util mi opinion. Cable utilisé pour raccorder un Macbook Pro à un écran doté d'une entrée USB-C. Parfait, bonne longueur, bonne finition des connecteurs.

ero un po' titubante per le fregature prese su prodotti similari, e siccome questa marca non la conoscevo, mi sono buttato: il risultato è stato ottimo. Lo uso per il monitor collegato all'imac e supporta tutte le funzioni senza surriscaldarsi. Consigliato.
