It's saffron.
Not bad, but doesn't produce the vibrant yellow in the quantities that the Iranian saffron I have does. Price was ok, availability perfect.

not convinced its all saffron
this seemed like good value, but now I'm not convinced its all saffron - I had to use far more than I normally do, so in the end didn't work out any cheaper.

Never bought saffron before so don't know what to expect. Smells a bit like tabacco, but does give colour to food - not sure it adds much taste
