Know What you Want to Use it For
Whether this stand is good or bad is largely dependent on what you want it for. I wanted mine to mount my laptop on for when I am sitting in an armchair (previously I had placed the laptop on one of those cushion trays on my lap) and watch things. The Good:The stand is easy and fairly quick to assemble. It looks nice.It is good for my use where I want to sit comfortably in my recliner armchair and view my laptop (particularly when awful modern TV ads are on) without doing much typing; just the odd review, personal e-mails etc. The height can easily be adjusted and the swivel arm moved back and forth in the horizontal plane, so that your laptop can be directly in front of you (almost) or moved out of the way when you get up. There is also a neat little mouse pad, more useful for 'storing' the mouse than using it (I use the armchair arms, which are wide and padded, as the mouse pad). Not so good:The arm is a bit wobbly which makes the laptop wobble a bit when typing. To minimise the wobble the typist has to be very light on the touch. The arm does not swivel or twist to allow the mounted laptop to be slanted down. The laptop must remain in the more-or-less upright position (which is not an issue for me as I have it at approximate eye level). There is a screw/cup mechanism under the laptop frame that allows a certain amount of swivel, or fixing the laptop at certain angles, but not much.In my view this stand would be totally unsuitable for someone wishing to use a laptop in a business or study sense, typing documents, letters, dissertation etc. It would be very uncomfortable and slow. The arm could be slightly longer, just an inch or two so that the laptop ban be placed directly in front of the sitter, but it is a relatively minor quibble. Conclusion:A nice stand if you just want to watch films, YouTube, view websites etc in comfort, with the minimum of typing. I would recommend it for that, as it has made a big difference for me using it that way. I would also recommend that a wireless mouse is used.I would not recommend this stand if you want to do lots of typing, in a business or study sense, as it is not rigid enough. I am not sure that any stand with an arm would be rigid enough, and this is probably as good as it gets.

and the idea was great. Its made from aluminium
Long time I'm looking to find an engineering solution to work with my laptops in different conditions in my flat. My flat is in very expensive street of Chelsea/London, so It is not so big and I should manage my space, just 1 bedroom, but I couldn't find a solution to use my laptop in sofa and in bed while sleeping before last minute that I close my eyes in the night. I find this in amazon, and the idea was great. Its made from aluminium, so it will not break, so I don't lose my laptop in accidental fall ;) It has a place to put your external HDD and it perfectly hold it. In regard to design, quality, model, material, and flexibility, I get impressed! Regarding customer service, they are so understood, polite and professional. If you want to pay for quality, you shouldn't have doubt with this product. I may buy another for my second laptop as well.

Magnificent. Exactly what I needed.
I bought the product to enable me to use my laptop from a recliner chair, as following a total knee replacement sitting at a table for any length of time was painful. It’s easy to put together, sturdy and very useful. I’ve also bought an additional arm to allow me to use either my phone or an additional screen more easily. Can recommend highly, as well as the customer service which is second to none.

Good laptop stand
Great laptop stand, does what it says on the box, also can be used for phone &tablet. the only thing that concerns me is the side arms, the 'uprights' don't actually clamp to the side of the latop securely. Maybe that's ok for some, I'd prefer it to me more secure. The other thing, the actual laptop holder is made of hard plastic, i'm not sure it would stand up to hours of typing.

Good value and versatile but fairly unstable with a 15" laptop and not great for taller people
Works quite well considering the price. Only took a couple of minutes to put together and includes parts to mount a tablet, laptop or phone. Has a lot of flexibility in height, position and tilt angle. Includes a nice little pad at the top of the main pole that can be used for a mouse. I bought this to use a 15" late 2016 MacBook Pro from a standing position and it does that for me well enough. It doesn't feel all that stable with a laptop of this size and weight - there's considerable wobble as I type and when the arm is rotated above the main pole it doesn't take much force to topple the whole thing unless there's weight over one of the legs (e.g. by sliding it under the sofa). The biggest problem is probably going to be the height limit. I'm not exactly tall at 5'8" (173cm) and at maximum height its actually just a little too low for me to be comfortable. Anybody 5'10" or taller is only going to be able to use this from a sitting position. Of course that's probably because making it higher would make it even more unstable.

First class stand for any tablet 6” to 10”
I have arthritis in both hand and can no longer hold a book or a tablet. This stand is very strong and stable and holds my kindle, iPad and Samsung tablet for either reading or typing without any significant movement my soul reservation although it does not effect me, is that the mouse pad is plastic, small and flimsy, which is surprising when the rest of the stand is of such high quality

Five stars minus one
Excellent quality item. Light weight but amazingly sturdy (I use it only for a 9.7 inch tablet, no experience with a laptop). Nice finish. Only flaw is that to top plate (probably for a cup of tea/coffee) does not fit securely.Highly recommended to whoever needs such stand. On star less because of the loose top plate, otherwise five stars.
