This just arrived and I couldnt wait to try it out.The taste is not as awful as other reviewers commented. I just put a teaspoon of the product into my usual lemon and ginger tea with honey, and I couldnt feel any weird taste at all. Maybe some people is taking it with just water, which is not what the product description recommends. Anyway, I was never expecting a "tropicana" flavour, so don't really know why so many people is complaining about the taste, when this product is all about the benefits of a regular intake. Not the enjoyment of tasting a soft drink.

Have been taking this for over 3 months now, I feel better than ever.My sleep and mood has improved dramatically. I felt much less depressed last winter. Though this could be the result of combination, as i used Shilajit as well. I put both in a cup of hot milk and never had any problems with the taste. I don't even mind even it tastes 100 times more horrible if it benefit in health and wellbeing.The foil lined paper bag looks and feels nice, durable and well sealed, the self sealing zip lock keep the powder dry for long time.I literally sieved the powder through a fine sieve and found no big bit, neither anything should not be there.All in all this powder made me better and I will keep using it for some time.

I put 5 stars for flavour and scent even though this doesn't taste great or bad. The reason for this is you can easily mask the taste with lemon water and it need a good review.It's a good size pack and lasted a while. I bought this to use in a Nootropic stack for help against anxiety which helped a lot.If you get pills you'd be taking lots to get the benefits. I use two heaped (and I mean heaped) teaspoons in lemon water or orange juice. Like any herb if you want it to work all the time and stop the body adapting to it you must cycle the dosage.I take it for four days in a row then have three days off for a few weeks at a time. If I feel good then I stop until its needed again.This is blended as its hard to mix.Hope this helps

Bought for its purported calming and cortisol lowering effects. Five days is probably too soon to say with any certainty if it's helping, especially as I've started taking it during a nice relaxing week of annual leave - so time will tell.I don't usually struggle with taking odd tasting supplements but find this stuff very off-putting. Tried adding it to a vanilla whey protein shake but it ruined the flavour. Next time in a small glass with plenty of lime juice cordial to mask the taste but it was still grim....... However, I've now found a way to make it much more bearable!! I mix a teaspoon of powder in a small glass of cold tap water (about 100ml) and have another larger glass of water or juice standing by. The trick is to pinch your nose whilst downing the shot of ashwagandha, and keep it pinched until you've rinsed any residue down with your other drink.

This is an excellent value for money product, it is not the best ashwaghanda I have ever had but it’s decent. There are some reviews on here who I feel are a bit harsh as they give 1 star because of things like taste, which shouldn’t count against the brand because Ashwaghanda by its very nature has a peculiar, earthy, bitter taste. If you have not had it before you should start off in small doses first to get your body acclimatised, especially if you have a sensitive tummy. I had no such issues. Also note that some people label it as an Indian ginseng but this is somewhat a misnomer, as many people feel it has a sedative effect on them and helps them sleep. See how you feel with it and use it accordingly, as it does have many all-round benefits.
