Bought this a couple of weeks ago, it was easy to set up and use. The plus points are it sets of an alert on my phone on motion detect, the picture quality is good in daylight but I do put an outside light on at night as the reflection on the window it is facing out of obscures the image. It works well, I have caught a couple of foxes on my drive at night and can distinguish them apart. You can tilt and pan from your phone and even listen to voices. The only downside is the speaker quality is poor, but it is a security camera and I don’t think I will use that facility anyway. Overall a great little camera and I would recommend it

This is an excellent product - I am happy with it.I bought it to monitor my office after money went missing several times. I had initially bought some similarly priced miniature spy cams - all turned out to be poor quality and useless.The Yatwin is in a different league. Though the instruction manual lacks good language and clear instructions (I went onto Youtube for more info) it was still very easy to set up ( you download an app on your phone and connect the whole thing with wifi to your broadband router). You can then access a live feed from anywhere. (I have had a few minor connectivity problems which were solved by resetting the router)You will need to buy a micro SD card. In the app you can then set up the camera to record any movement, or continuous video.In the live feed, you can watch the place being monitored and if you wish take photos or videos which are downloaded to your phone.There are a few negatives and things I would love to see improved:1. It is not discrete. It is hard to hide and anyone who is alert enough is likely to spot it (so great for baby / pet monitoring - but likely to be discovered by burglars) I have mingled it amongst other technology so that it does not stand out2. It requires a mains connection - there is no battery - so you are a little limited in terms of where you can place it3. If found by an intruder - they can simply take out the SD card and you then have no record of the video (unless you are watching on live feed in which case you can save a video to your phone)Positives which I would emphasise are:1. The picture quality is exceptional2. Even the night time pic quality, which is b&w is amazing3. Set up is easy4. Remote monitoring via the app is easy and the picture is very clear on your phone5. Great product for a great price

Had multiple issues in connecting the mobile app to this camera. Multiple issues with the wifi password and at some point after updating the firmware the camera rebooted randomly during the night and woke me up.Also their android app requires a ridiculous amount of permissions which doesn't make sense. I honestly can't trust that the software is written in a secure manner. I inspected the network traffic from the app and it connects to random hardcoded IPs in china.I've removed it from my house and would not use again.

This is a pretty good camera for the money. The picture quality is reasonable, and the night vision ability isn't bad. The IR illumination won't work if your camera is looking through a window, as the glass just reflects back all the IR and blinds the camera. If you want to monitor outdoors when it is very dark out (i.e. no street lighting nearby), then you will have to put the camera outside. Unfortunately, it's not weather proof and so would need to be protected from the elements. It works well for monitoring dark rooms indoors though.My only complaint is that the EyeCloud software is a little flakey. It usually crashes when you are trying to view recorded videos by streaming them from the camera to your phone. You can remove the SD card and view them on a PC, or something, but that's a bit more of a hassle. The configuration options have independent settings for triggering recording on motion detection and for sending alerts to your phone when motion is detected, but even though I have the recording option on and the alert option off (because it is highly annoying to have your phone constantly pinging away each time the wind blows outside - my camera is looking out through the window) I still get the alerts coming through. I suspect this is a problem with EyeCloud. Turning off the motion-detection triggered recording and leaving it to record everything stops the alerts, but then you end up with lots more video to review.There is no information supplied on how to use the camera with anything other than EyeCloud, but after much messing about I have found that you can use something called 'ONVIF Device Manager' to obtain the details needed to use most of the camera functionality with other software - for example iSpy on Windows. It would be nice if this information was provided in the instructions.

Delivery was fast. The product was easy enough to set up. Audio is delayed and intermitent. Moving the camera is finiky but managable. The camera image is good. The IR is good also. Does what it says on tin.
