Excellent Heater & Value
Amazing heater. The grip holder with suction cups fits perfectly and keeps it sturdy. This is a smart heater. Simple. Yet, it does its job. I like it a great deal & recommend it.

No wet hands!!
Easy read, accurate temps, protects fishes from heating element..Very easy to adjust temperature from outside the tank- no getting hands wet, no struggling to see if turning knob higher or lower!! Worth the higher price

Lasted less than two months...
This item, as well as the return experience with hygger, were total garbage. I ordered this on February 23rd of 2024, and had to buy a new heater on April 5th of 2024. Meanwhile, as it was still cold in my part of the country, I lost over a dozen fish in my 75 gallon tank when the temperature plunged due to the heater failure. I was expecting that the error systems and warnings would alert me to any issues, but the heater never showed any signs of error, just simply stopped working and lost all power. I only noticed this when double checking my manual thermometer one morning to find the tank temperature at 62 degrees F, and witnessed the carnage in the tank from all the tropical fish who died from temperature shock. Everything else was functioning on the same power strip/surge protector, and after trying multiple outlets on the strip as well as other outlets in my house I know are functional, there was simply no power going to the device. No lights, no sounds, no indication that there was any power flowing through the heater at all.Understanding that sometimes these things just happen, I tried reaching out to hygger support directly, as stated in the manual that came with the heater. However, their response was to demand I send them a video of the device not working. While this may sound trivial, it is terrible customer service, and I refuse to jump through needless hoops when trying to return a defective product. I will not be dealing with hygger support again, and will certainly not be purchasing any of their products in the future. I feel it was an expensive lesson ($47.32), but valuable in the long run. Congratulations, hygger. Your terrible customer service/return experience cost you a customer.Since then, I purchased the: Fluval E 300 Watt Electronic Heater, and have been nothing but pleased with the device. It doesn't look as sleek as the hygger, but totally delivers on functionality.

GREAT HEATER I USE 500W FOR 125G
This heater rocks, i use only one 500Watt for my 125 gal and it keeps my water warm. I had used water from my hose outside when it was cold upon set up and it was so low that it said low level. in 24 hrs my tank had gone from low level to 84 and maintained that

Works great, and didn't fry my fish
I had read a bunch of other reviews for aquarium heaters, and even the ones which came from companies that had a good reputation, would sometimes have issues. I bought this one, since I also bought an aquarium light from the same company, and I liked how this one looked.I bought the 75 watt version, and am using it in a 20G H tank. The 150 watt one wouldn't come for almost a month, so I figured 75 was enough, and so far I am right. It's winter here, and I keep the house in the 60s when at work and asleep, and this thing keeps the water where I want it.My only gripe, is the temperature display is off by between .5 and 1 degree, compared to my glass thermometer that is in there.Update: It crapped out for some reason in September, 10 months or so after I bought it. For some reason, the unit displayed Er where the temp should be. It is supposed to only display that when out of water. Hygger promptly answered my email, and after a picture sent, and a description of the problem, they sent me another unit.

Reliable
I have Hyger heaters in all my tanks. I keep them in the bottom of the sump so there's no chance of running out of the water. Like all heaters, never trust the auto shutoff. Don't care what brand it is. That's where most bad reviews come from. People that didn't listen

What a great heater!!
I love Hygger products & have bought several in the past couple of months. I bought 2 150 watt heaters & haven't had an issue with them, so I decided to get this one for my 75 gallon tank. You can see the temperature on the digital readout and I love that. Another wonderful Hygger product & I'll be buying more soon.
