In direct light it's primarily a purple but the indirect light brings out the greyish and greenish tones. really fun to look at. The colors compliment each other well and I have it on subscription because I don't like to run out of it.The pearl-esque sheen is beautiful. I have other colors in this line (and revlon in general) and it has a softer shine even with a shinier clear coat. It doesn't blind you or distract you too much. Like you want to keep looking at your nails, but if you tend to look at your hands while you type it won't pull your attention away from the keyboard too much.Thinner polish, so it's a 2 coater (which I think is a better way to go anyway). It applies smooth and you can apply it slower without messing up the polish already on the nail. A coat will dry enough for a second coat in about 5-6 minutes. 10 if you want it nearly completely dry before adding another coat. The 2nd coat will take a bit longer if the 1st coat isn't completely dry. Works well with a variety of quick dry top coats.The brush. I love the brush, it's soft and wide. It covers my whole pinky in one go. I've even cleaned out old bottles and poured other nail polish into them just so I can use the brush more. I wish more nail polishes had wider and softer brushes. (My second favorite brush is the sally hensen extreme wear one for the toppers). Hardly any polish on the edges of my nail bed too as it contours well to my nail and nail bed.Pretty durable and it doesn't flake/chip. I'm hard on the tips of my nails due to work and typing but the tips will last me a couple days verses many that barely last a day.I have visible ridges and it acts as a smoothing/filler too. I've never not had a smooth manicure with this polish (or any revlon polish really).

If you love some bling with your nail color, this one's for you. Not only is the color spectacular, but the halo effect brings a different dimension to it. Definitely recommend it!

This is a great 'basic' grey without being basic, and revlon is always good quality.

I love the color, it shimmers and looks different every time. It's easy to apply. People ask if I've been to the manicurist when I wear this. I just wish it would last a bit longer.

This is a nice polish but the color you see here is a bit more pronounced than what you get in real life.

Gorgeous color, but definitely needs 2 coats. the first coat is very sheer.

I love these nail polishes! Sure, they may not be as 'chrome' or 'holo' as other brands of nail polishes, but they are very nice colors. I have four of the shades and I really like them. The 'holo' ones wear very nicely and do have that 'holo' aspect although it definitely is not as strong as it is with other brands. If you like a subtle, more natural holo, then look no further, these colors are great! From the chrome ones I've only tried Amethyst Smoke and I love that shade so much that I've bought 2. It reminds me a lot of the sinful colors collection that came out a while ago with Kylie and had duochrome shades, this nail polish is very much like that and I love it! Sometimes Amethyst Smoke looks grey, sometimes it looks purple and sometimes it looks green. I can honestly say that this is my favorite shade of nail polish ever.
