DSQUARED2Sunglasses

I’ve ALWAYS brought RayBan and always been happy with them but I fancied a change. I have baseball caps from DSquared2 and a few t shirts and always been extremely happy with the quality so when I saw the icon sunglasses I decided to give them a try.First impressions were that they were extremely well built and a lot of attention to detail has gone into them to make sure they feel comfortable to wear. My other main sunglasses are a pair of red wayfarers which I paid around £160 for so price is pretty much identical and I would say the ICON sunglasses feel more comfortable. There is a slight curvature to the inside edge of the arms that feel good and they don’t slip forward like the wayfarers due to a slightly firmer hinge and better contour in the arms.My ONLY complaint is the case. I could argue the same issue with these as the RayBan and that is that the case offers no real protection for a potential “crush” incident. Both RayBan and DSquared2 cases offer protection from dust and scratches in bags/car perhaps but if you were to put these is a suitcase or you accidentally sat on the case then there is no protection. I feel that if you’re paying £150+ for a pair of sunglasses then the case should be hard shell. Even an option with an additional cost attached. This price and the great build quality makes them more of a longevity product so why not go that little bit extra with them and offer a premium protection experience too.Glasses: 10/10Case: 6/10
