Very loud!! Comes with batteries already in them. I'm not looking for these to "prevent" crime, but, as an aid to give me time to get to my weapon if I'm home at the time of a break-in. Praying I will never need to know that from first-hand knowledge! Also, considering giving to a coworker for a little house-warming gift.

So far so good. If I have any problems, I will update this review. However, for now, I "Installed" these and they work just fine. In fact, I have to get used to them because I have already startled my household to death by opening up a door and window...FORGETTING THAT THESE ARE "ON". Just a tip, if you want to spend a few more extra dollars, you can put two of these on a window, one for "night" when windows are closed. And another for if you have a window slightly open, but you want to feel safe walking away from an open window - put an extra alarm in a position set for an open window. In other words, it will only "LINE UP" (with the arrows) when window is open and you will only have it in the ON position when the window is open and lined up.

For now I give it a 5, based on the easy installation and the fact that the batteries did not arrived DEAD. TESTED the distance today, I can hear the alarm about 30 feet away giving the 2 walls interference. So far so good, I will make review adjustments based on how long the batteries will last, how long the tape stays on the mounted surface and if they will malfunction without the window operation ( IE-if it triggered it self on in the wee hours of the night). If this last more than a year, its worth it. Our neighborhood was affected by uninvited NIGHT WALKERS, this will give me a slight advantage over them. For the price its great, the batteries alone costs just as much per alarm. The only thing I don't like about thisis where I mounted it inferred with tilting window for cleaning. I just need more mounting tapes when spring cleaning times arrived. Installing it at the bottom is not an option for me because of the angle and it does not work on my windows, other than that I liked the product. I mounted the alarms vertically on both pieces & perpendicular depends on the surface location. The smaller piece ca be within 1/4 inch of the arrow (up or down). FYI this uses LR44, the AG13 batteries will work in this alarm. I recommend this product.

Hi! Purchased this product before and it worked great. Wanted to add a couple more to some doors. With this purchase, the alarm goes off BUT the magnet piece doesn't shut off the alarm. No matter which way one turns the little piece, it doesn't deactivate the alarm. Received ALL the pieces in a plastic bag with one instruction piece of cardboard. The pieces were not individually wrapped like my last purchase. If you cannot get the alarm shut off, it is worthless. Very disappointed that money was wasted.

Simple and they make it really easy to install. It already comes with double sided tape on the smaller units and they supply the other double sided tape for the larger piece. The batteries are also installed. A few where alittle dirty, ink stains or something but I just cleaned them off and installed them on the windows and doors. Even gave one to a friend for her front door. This is a no brainer, I'm really glad I took a chance and bought them. I would buy them again.

Just check the batteries upon arrival. Some of these come with drained batteries so the sound is not as loud as expected. When I tried the other ones I noticed some sounded louder.Other than that the product works as advertised. The sound is loud enough to wake you up in case of a break-in. I don't think it will alert neighbors, as it's not that loud. Also the fact that the alarm will stop the moment the window is closed makes it easy for a thief to break-in and close the window after him to stop the sound. So again, I would recommend this to be turned on when you're home and possibly at night time.

Just received them today. They were easy to install. Will update later as time passes to give an accurate review of how they held up.So I’ve only had these a couple weeks and three of them have fallen off the wall the sticky adhesive on the back doesn’t hold very well. Unfortunately they fell in the middle of the night scared me thinking someone broke in.***update***Haven’t had these long and they have fallen off the wall and not only that. When i try to put them back on they crumbled. The plastic just fell apart. Don’t buy. If you want something long lasting put money into it and buy a better product.

You get what you pay for. These are pretty generic looking, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. They do do their job though. I will say placement has been pretty hard. We have thick trim around our doors so trying to place them was difficult . Either it would "catch" on the door or it wasn't close enough to the door to work properly. I had to remove one just moments after "sticking it" & the whole back of it fell off & I couldn't fix it so I had to trash it. Overall, it's ok...
