Chipped upon receiving
Just received the pan and there’s a chip in the enamel so sending it back. Waited over a month to get now we will see how long it takes to send replacement. I bought the same pan for my mother in law and she loves hers. Hope here doesn’t chip this easy or I’ll be embarrassed.

Buyer Beware
I had this pan before and loved it so I was so happy to find it. Then I received the first one with a deep scrape in the enamel. I ordered a replacement and received the pan with several deep scrapes. Seriously disappointed.

You'll Crow With Delight
I've never been a country design kind of person, but I do like roosters and I've always had a soft spot for enamel on steel kitchen products. They wear beautifully, and as strange as this sounds, after years they get that fantastic worn look where just the edges start to show through. It's something that can be used for generations, really. This is that kind of pan. This is only the second roasting pan I've ever owned. My other one? You could park a Volkswagen in it. I maybe use it once a year, and whatever bird I'm roasting looks quite lonely. This size is much more sensible for a typical family unless you often cook for about 20 people. I personally have only cooked 1 turkey over 16 pounds. As you want with a roaster, this one has the metal grate on the bottom that elevates your protein to keep it from marinating in juices and impacting texture (or as a perfect platform for steaming in a shallow layer of savory broth to keep the protein moist while covered with a foil tent). Now this retails for about $50 at the time of this writing, which may be expensive depending on your needs. If you only cook 1 turkey every 1-3 years, that may be a bit much. However, if you cook turkeys, chicken, and/or assorted roasts several times a year, this is worth having. I, for one, prefer a real roasting pan to the throw-away aluminum pans.
