awesome climbing wheels
The Superteam 38mm wheelset is is a great set of wheels. I got them to use for climbing. They are light and stiff. I love the 23mm width, it allows the use of a much wider set of tires vs the wider rims can only really use the wider tires. The inner part of the rim is rounded like the more modern rims have become for better aerodynamics. The continental tires I use work out really well with no issues mounting or any problems with the bead seating. The rims come with a rim-strips pre-installed. This set of wheels uses a 42mm presta valve so when you order them make sure you have the shorter presta valve tubes on hand to get your tires mounted up.The wheelset comes with extra spokes and nipples which is great in case you ever have any problems. The wheelset also comes with a set of 4 grey brake pads for carbon rims that look a lot like the pads ENVE supplies with their rims for brake pads. The brake pads are for any Shimano style pad holders. And as long as we are discussing the brake pads the basalt braking surface is great and I have had no issues with any stopping on any grade, no howling, no fading. Just remember that once you swap to carbon rims and the associated brake pads you should not use aluminum rims because bits of aluminum will embed in the pads and possibly hurt the carbon rims. Just something to keep in mind for people who are upgrading from aluminum rims. The wheels also come with a set of QR skewers which are quite nice, pretty light for steel shaft skewers, and have nicely made parts. They close with cam action and hold the wheel in the dropouts very nicely. The freehub has smooth action and comes with a spacer to use a Shimano 8,9,10 speed cassette or the spacer can be removed and an 11 speed cassette fits perfectly. The set I got came with UCI legal stickers which is an added bonus. This is not my first set of wheels from Superteam. They have amazing customer service and at least for the US stock wheels they have, the shipping is pretty fast.I have had a lot of other carbon rims (from other manufacturers) but these as good or better then any others I have owned. I highly recommend getting these wheels if you are thinking about a lighter set or swapping to a carbon wheel. The other depths of rims by super team I would have to assume are just as nice if you need a deeper section rim. Just to reiterate, the Superteam wheels are amazing and may be the last set of wheels you will ever need.

Spokes start breaking at 1200 miles
First off let me start off by saying these wheels look magnificent and I really wanted to like them. Unfortunately at about 1200 mi the spokes started popping left and right, well I was riding them they were really good and really fast but right around 1200 miles spokes start breaking. I believe it's because the poor machining of the hubs is not as clean as it could be causing the non-drive side spokes to break. I'm not a heavy rider, I weigh 168. Superteam must be aware of this as they put two spare spokes that comes with your wheels. They are a decent set of wheels if you don't plan on riding them that hard and you aren't a serious cyclist, they could be good for gentle commuting or easy riding but if you plan on riding these wheels hard look elsewhere, they are not durable and they will not last. I was only putting about 200 to 400 watts into these wheels mostly but they started breaking and I started losing confidence in them so I switched back to my aluminum clinchers. I hope this helps somebody considering buying these wheels, they are really fast but they don't last that long.

Worst wheels ever
Over 40 years of riding. Mountain n Road from racing to commuting and these wheels are the worst I have ever ridden. I now break spokes daily and it's not on rough roads. I get much less breakage on my mountain bike going over rocks n trees. I took a chance on these less than good wheels. Even after reading about concerns from others. I have about 400 miles on them and broken spokes on a few rides. I also question the hubs in there durability because of cassette installation and removals.

Great rims, rear hub is super loud
The front wheel has radial spokes that connect to the inside of the hub and the rear has crossing spokes(non-interlaced) connecting on alternating sides of the hub. The rear hub is annoyingly loud when coasting. So loud that I replaced it with my old Bontrager hub. I don't think any wheel should be laced radially, but re-lacing is relatively inexpensive. The carbon rim is really what you're paying for and that itself gets 5 stars, especially considering the low price point.

Truly Lightweight and Initially Good Quality, Hopefully They Hold Up
UPDATE: After several years of use and probably about 3,000 miles in by now, and these wheels held up perfect. I've done multiple century rides and just regular commuting, and they still feel amazing. Wheels have stayed true, too. Love these wheels. Currently in the process of buying one for my fixie. Shipping box is pretty impressive. Good condition and everything was organized. Skewers and cork brake pads are included (REMEMBER TO INSTALL THE CORK PADS!). The wheels are very light and appear to be high quality. The black on black decal looks good in person. Wheels were true and there didn't seem to be any imperfections in the carbon. After installing, I took it out for a 20 mile jaunt. Wheels felt very responsive and made my bike very comfortable in comparison to my Alexrims Aluminums, surprisingly. Front brake squeals but the rear does not which probably just needs some adjusting. Freehub is loud, but I love that sound. I think I notice less pedal effort, but unsure.Like everyone looking at these wheels, I was super hesitant to make a purchase. So I bit the bullet, and will sacrifice my wallet and possibly my well-being to see if these wheels are a good deal. I do a lot of riding so I'll give a situation report at the end of summer.Hopefully they hold up.

spokes will break
I'm writing this as I have just broke the 5th spoke, at the nipple, in about 4 years of owning these rims. They are good for the price. They are fast. They are not durable at all. In cold weather and on slightly pothole ridden roads, you will break spokes at an alarming rate. Spend more money and save money and time replacing bad nipples and spokes. You won't regret it.

Horrible wheels, never to buy it again
Normal training but they don't stop breaking nipples or spokes, both wheels. They cannot be worst.
