Stop shopping and buy this !!! UPDATED
I have a smaller speaker from the same company and was really impressed with how it performed. I’ve also been shopping for something that would fill our thousand square-foot two-story workshop, and after reading the reviews I gave this a try. I bought just one and it is absolutely the best purchase I’ve ever made speaker wise, and this is somebody who used to own those 901 I have a smaller speaker from the same company and was really impressed with how it performed. I’ve also been shopping for something that would fill our thousand square-foot two-story workshop, and after reading the reviews I gave this a try. I bought just one and it is absolutely the best purchase I’ve ever made speaker wise, and this is somebody who has Bose 901s. I ordered a second one to pair with the first before I wrote this review. One would be enough for sure, but I want to total club experience. Two of these and his cell phone is all you need. The microphone that comes with it is perfect if you want to sing along or make announcements. I could not be happier !!!UPDATE: The second one came in... They are both in the loft of our shop. I put them through 2 tests. The first was to link them, and blast something. The link up was too easy, and had no problems. The music test started with a song, and lasted several hours. I swear that our loft has "club level" performance. It gets as loud as you can take, and there's still a lot of dial left. I seriously can not believe that I get that level of performance for $600 and a cell phone!!! I spent $8,000 on my system when I was in Japan in the 80's, and I'm going to say that these sound as good as my Bose 901s did... I know that sounds sacrificial, but the guys across the yard came over, and they will be placing their orders this week. The second test was to hook up Rockband and play along. My x-box does not have bluetooth, so I had to use a splitter at the audio out of the TV, and run RCA cables to each speaker. The RCA plug ins on the speakers operate like a microphone... It was the best Rockband experience so far (on Thursday were expecting an Alesis electronic drum set to replace the game drums, so this will change).Bonus: Because the game console plugs into a mic section you can operate it in conjunction with using bluetooth! So in my case that means I can put the game in freestyle (no music, just play with the drums) and use my cell to play any music... And play along. It's not one or the other. Heck you can even sing along because there's more mic inputs.P.S. It comes with a mic that is very clear, and heavy (not cheap plastic).

L2200PK - Quality sound, Affordable, Versatile.
I initially bought ALP-L2200PK for my movie projector sound. It had bluetooth, it was affordable, it promised quite a bit of power. It turned out that for the movies I never had to to go beyond a third of its volume. During the summer I took this speaker to pool parties. Oh my, can it keep the sound flowing. The quality is crisp in both highs and lows. At the pool parties I went as high as 2/3rds, so I still have not heard a full power of this little beast. There was only one thing missing. A spacial stereo effect that can only be generated by 2 speakers. By the time I realized it, ALP-L2200PK was out of stock on Amazon and at other places the markup made it not affordable. After a bit of searching I found GSP-L2200PK. Which looks like a twin of ALP-L2200PK. Same description. Same features. And a BT-LINK feature that would provide stereo. I could find no information on whether these 2 are compatible or not. I decided I'd make it work if they are not and ordered GSP-L2200PK. They linked up via BT-LINK effortlessly. The sound is very clean. The stereo effect is super immersive. Music became spacious. A tiny side-effect of BT-LINK is a slight lag of the sound from the source. Which is a deal breaker for the movies, because movies now show a dialog a second before you actually hear it. I ended up disconnecting the BT-LINK feature for the movies and paired each speaker to my computer individually. This gave me exactly what I wanted. Perfect immersive stereo movie experience. I am very happy with both of these speakers.

People leaving reviews ALL IN CAPS!
You have to leave reviews about this speaker ALL IN CAPS BECAUSE NOBODY CAN HEAR YOU OVER THE SPEAKER IF YOU DONT! ITS LOUD AND WILL BLOW YOUR EARDRUMS AND MAKE YOU TYPE ALL IN CAPS! CHECK THE PAST REVIEWS AND YOU'LL SEE THIS IS A FACT!The bluetooth feature is nice for streaming music from your phone. Comes with a mic so you can link it to a karaoke machine/app and sing along. I got an Echo Dot for the holidays and you can connect Alexa to it and stream your music. I've had it for almost a year now and have loved every minute of the breath stealing, soul pounding, wall rattling bass. Once you hear your favorite song on this PA speaker you will feel like the band/artist is right there singing to you and it won't be the same hearing it any other way.I personally don't enjoy the light ring but that's not why I bought it. Light ring can be adjusted to blink, stay on, pulse with the beat, etc. and can be changed to a variety of colors. Good for ambiance if used in a public setting but I just hit the light button a few times and shut it off since all I want is the decibels. At home, by myself, I run the bluetooth at 70% volume from my phone, the bluetooth dial I put at about 70%, and master volume at about 30% and its more than enough to have crystal clear audio through your house without disturbing the neighbors. At 50%, you can hear it outside and at all 70% you will start a block party at your house. Im pretty sure cranking everything to 100% will make you deaf like the ALL CAPS REVIEWERS...WARNING - Extremely fun - Extremely loud - Extremely worth it

Monster sound for cheap
The speaker is the main reason to get this, it's got lights that can be switched off or run different colors and patterns. The sound is super loud, I am always afraid I might blow it out if I get careless. The stand busted while transporting it and the mic is crap. But you buy this for the speaker, not the stuff they bundle with it. I replaced the mic with a $20 mic and got great sound and I'm probably gonna order a better stand for it. The bluetooth works great and you can also use radio and has a decent amount of channels on the back, I might get another to chain to this one since it has the outlet on the back. Overall a great value sans peripherals.
