This is the most wonderful blanket. I am always cold and I use it when I am sitting on the sofa watching tv every night. It is sooooo soft. I have even bought more as gifts. The control is easy to use and I can customize my warmth easily. I am so happy with it.

Both items arrived promptly, undamaged and as described. To save on heat bills, I have a couple twin-sized electric blankets for my beds, but was looking for something smaller to warm my old bones while sitting at the computer or reading in a recliner. This throw is the perfect size for that and it is, indeed, very warm, super soft, lightweight, and luxurious to look at. I got the camel color at first. No issues, so a month later I got the grey. While writing this review, I stuck a thermometer in my lap, under the bunched up throw, and the temp reading is 116F at the high (5) setting. Quite warm enough for my region of Arizona where nighttime temps can range between 22-36F. Without a warm body under it, the temp reads 98F at same setting. Warmth effectiveness could vary with type of use and region. It does heat up quickly. The long cord is 9ft 4in long total (about 3ft from throw plug-in attachment to control). The setting dots light up, though not the numbers. The wiring can be felt, but not such that one would not want to use without the heating feature. Both throws smelled nice right out of the package. I did not notice excessive shedding, though I admit to having multiple cats. I don't care about shedding. My cats love these throws and I also purchased with them in mind. The instructions warn however: Keep all dogs, cats and other pets away from this heated product. My cats are able bodied and do not chew stuff. I have not had any problems with any electric coverings, except their claws can sometimes make pulls in the fabric. I have not washed as yet, so I cannot comment on that. The photos do not show it, but the washing/drying instructions are printed on a 6 x 7 swatch of silky material that is sewn onto the faux fur side near the bottom corner. I did not care for the look of that, so I made a Xerox and removed the swatch. Wasn't too difficult, but you need to be careful not to accidently cut the throw fabric. I cannot comment on durability past 30 days. I figured if I waited too long to order a second one, they might get sold out! Made in China.

Love it!! Keeps me warm in the cold just what I need. Heat goes 1-9 and timer goes 1-9+ hrs. Very comfy.

The blanket is perfect. This thing gets HOT. Like, even if it's 60 degrees in your room, you'll still wake up sweating if you're not careful. It's also thin enough the be used in the summer when not on to keep decently cool. Get this blanket. You will not regret it.

Pros: This blanket feels so amazing on your skin. The material is so soft and comfortable.Cons: I would have given it 5 stars, but after about 6 months of use, the heater element doesn't heat the entire blanket all the time. Its weird, because its sporadic, sometimes it heats in some spots and others times it heats in other spots.

It was nice and soft. I returned because it was a Christmas gift my daughter didn't want.

I suffered from a stroke last year, which has caused my left side to be very sensitive to the cold… sometimes at night, it is hard to sleep because of the burning sensation. I was searching for a comfortable soft heated blanket that I could use easily on my left side.After reading through multiple reviews of different products, I came across this one and decided to take the leap, and I’m so glad I did… it gets so nice and warm, but has a really nice variety of settings anywhere between barely on and toasty. It also has timed heat or has an option to stay on. I believe I bought the twin or double… I would suggest buying at least that size because I feel like the throw would not be long enough for most people. I wanted something that I didn’t have to fight to cover my feet and also my shoulder.This blanket is so freaking soft I can go on and on about it, I am absolutely in love and you will be too.

This blanket is so incredibly soft. I’m in love with it. Most of the electric blankets I’ve seen have been on the thin side and I wanted something thick and with a little weight to it. This blanket is exactly that. I wish it heated more evenly but it’s so cozy and once it’s been on for awhile it feels warm all around. Love and highly recommend. Hope it lasts!
