Worth EVERY penny ...
My daxy HATES having his teeth brushed, so over the years, I have resorted to several extremely expensive dental cleans at the vets which, apart from the cost, has been worrying because he has to be put out for it. A friend of mine purchased one and had marvellous results, so I took the plunge. The beauty of it is you don't have to scrub at the teeth. You put a bit of the paste on the brush and then place on the teeth for about 10 seconds. There is no vibration and at first I was dubious and thought it might be a bit of a gimmick. However, a few days later, I noticed little bits of hard tartar coming away. His teeth are definitely improving and his breath too, which smelt of seaweed and fish ... my Mum who was ALWAYS on about it has noticed how much fresher it is. It is expensive, but well worth it and you can do it in the comfort of your own home , without your pet getting stressed

Just buy a tube of the toothpaste on its own
Rubbish, the toothbrush does absolutely nothing and from a little led light that just lights up, it’s the toothpaste that works and can be used with any brush. The toothpaste can be purchased on its own reasonably cheaply

Seems to work, but needs time
My 9 year old terrier cross has some thick tartar build-up on his teeth, mainly on the canines. His dental regime since he was a year old has been a daily Dentastick, which is much to his liking and may have been effective for the back teeth which he uses to chew them but obviously hasn’t worked for the others. On a recent trip to the vet the tartar and gingivitis was mentioned and the possibility of a dental cleanup under sedation in the not too distant future. As my dog hates the vet I decided to get on the case and bought the Emmi Pet toothbrush, despite some mixed reviews. I have used the toothbrush on the canines practically every day in accordance with the instructions, and after nearly 2 months was starting to lose faith, when a large flake of tartar came away from the worst canine, and a small patch on a neighbouring tooth disappeared. There is plenty more tartar remaining but I feel confident now that it will disappear in time with continued use of the Emmi Pet. He’s tolerated the Emmi Pet toothbrush pretty well as it is noiseless. My experience indicates that it is working, but it will take some time to remove significant tartar deposits. Worth persevering to avoid the trauma and cost of veterinary dental treatment.

Probably overpriced but worth, it most vets charge at least £400 plus.
I have been using this toothbrush for 2 weeks most days on my 2 terriers and can see the difference. The canine teeth on both dogs are now clean, the molars are more difficult, but there is a noticeable improvement. I am also using a plaque removal product on their food and adding chopped parsley to help with smelly breath. I don't like using metal tooth scrapers in case of damaging the enamel so hope that most of the hardest tartar does come off in time. I don't expect miracles though!

Love this and it worked......updated review 11 months later will not charge!
Well I had heard good reviews for this so thought I would give it a go for my 6 year old dog...I got her used to the brush just placing it in her mouth for a few days and same with the toothpaste ...Then started to use it thought I would concentrate on one side of the mouth to see if it really did worked! WELL as you can see in the top photo that no treatment the bottom photo is after 2 days of 2 sessions a day for 5 mins and a bit of scraping with my fingernail.........well impressed , going to start the other side next and then the back ones which I think may take a little longer ...My dog just lies and lets me hold the brush on the teeth with no problems at all....So happy.........I was happy with the product but 11 months later the item has stopped working not charging and not switching on....a lot of money to work for only 11 months so not too happy at all... does the job but !! only for 11 months!! not on!! so reduced the stars.....just gave it 5 stars again as i contacted the makers and they have sent me a new charger for free and its now working fine....defo a great item and good seller ...back to 5 stars.

Well...
I tried this product for a while and I am not convinced. It is super difficult to tell if this toothbrush really works or if is it the most expensive manual toothbrush ever made with great marketing. It did nothing to my dog’s teeth. I contacted customer care and they recommended that I try it on myself with a spare head which I did. No response from the toothbrush (they said that the surface of the teeth should be “smoother and squeaky clean”).Not a huge fan of the toothpaste which is not canine toothpaste but more of baby one.In my opinion not worth trying and is hugely overpriced.

Pretty good but not a quick fix
Thought the toothbrush was expensive at £150 but at the dog groomers they wanted to charge £30 a session to clean the dogs teeth using this toothbrush and they recommended 3 x the first week, then once a month. So I decided it was worth buying the Emmi toothbrush.I have a 4 year old greyhound and have cleaned her teeth every night for just over a year using a standard dog toothbrush. Although her teeth didn't get any worse they still remained brown in places.I've been using the Emmi toothbrush almost every day for two months. It is unnerving as the toothbrush looks like it is doing nothing but I have hold it against her teeth for 10secs as recommended. I think someone else mentioned slightly bleeding gums and that has happened on my dog.I can definitely see an improvement after 2 months, her teeth are not perfect... But there is a big improvement. It's hard to say if it's the the Emmi toothpaste or the brush or a mixture of using them both. It takes patience and time, the last thing I want to do at night is clean my dogs teeth, I spend from 30secs to 3mins depending on how tired I am.So if you are prepared to clean your dogs teeth most days you should definitely see an improvement after a few months.

Emmipet toothbrush
Have been using this toothbrush on my 12year old cavapoo he is tolerating it well and I have now started seeing some improvement,it will take awhile as he gets a lot of plaque build up and because of his heart condition I don’t want him to have his teeth cleaned under anesthetic so keeping fingers crossed that it works.
