Great scope, great value
I had been looking for a scope for my Ruger 9mm Carbine and finally decided this is the one. Eye relief is so good you can shoot with both eyes open. Very clear sight picture and well made with an excellent mount. I use my carbine for shooting at 50 to 75 yards. I've shot over 250 rounds and the scope is still holding zero. Can't beat it for the money.

Great scope.
If you are looking for a scope that is built from quality materials, light weight, crystal clear lenses, with awesome illumination and all that with a great price, then you found it. Best scope you will find for the price.

Decent entry level optic. Eye relief is not as long as described.
Glass seems OK given the price. Illumination is not daylight bright, and there is also some level of optical aberration and image glare when the illumination is on higher than 2. I would probably run illumination only at the lowest level to give a boost in low light shooting but not as an aide in bright day light shooting. The eye relief on the Amazon page says 6-7, long enough to be used on a scout rifle. This is not true. The Monstrum website says eye-relief is only 4.5in. What I have seen and quickly measured, the furthest eye relief is probably 4.5-5in. There is no way to mount this on a scout rifle given the limited places for mount rings on the scope tube itself. It is probably best to mount this on a rifle with a long flat top picatinny. Since it cant be mounted on my scout rifle I returned it which is too bad because it seemed light, and compact.

So far..
So, I just received this scope. Before now, the cheapest optic I've ever bought was a Sig Romeo 7. But, always up for surprises, I decided to give this little 4X a shot for my hog gun. The reviews were very positive and so far, I can see why. I don't think I've ever had a scope packaged so well to start with. The scope is heavy for it's size. But, heavy usually means tough. We'll see. The glass is super clear. Love the reticle. Illumination is crisp, no wash out of the lines, even at brightest setting. So, once I've shot it and used it to hunt with, I will update my review. Until then, it definitely appears to be worth every penny of the $80 I paid. Maybe more. TBC

Decent Budget-Minded Option
This budget-friendly option light and fairly sturdy. It is simple to mount and adjust in minutes. The sight picture is clear (particularly in natural lighting when outdoors), and it offers a good bit of eye relief for offset mounting and co-witness sighting. The mount screws are more sensitive to recoil and will loosen when firing for extended periods—which will cause the scope to move & adjust and lose its leveling/zero if not regularly checked for tight fit.The reticle does appear very thin without illumination, and this could pose issues for shooters who have difficulty seeing or impaired eyesight. The magnification also appears weaker than product images would suggest—and this does limit the effective range of this optic. The average shooter should be capable of holding groups effectively within and out to a range of 100 yards on a standard silhouette target with this optic; but I would not advise this optic for applications of intended greater ranges.Overall, this budget-friendly option should satisfy the average shooter who purchases on the expectation of a simple, no frills optic for applications within relatively short distances.

Works Well - Excellent Quality
When I received the Monstrum Stealth 4x30 Sight, I was impressed as to the care that had been taken in packaging it, unlike most Chinese-made items like this. Upon assembling the sight and mounting it on my MSR, the quality of the optics became evident. The image was clear and the green and red illumination settings of the sight appear to be excellent. I used a laser boresighter to do a 25 yard sight-in and was amazed how easy it was to adjust the turrets, not needing a screwdriver to adjust them. Now I will be heading to the range for final sight-in. Again, the quality of the Monstrum Stealth 4x30 Sight appears to be excellent and is exactly want I needed for my MSR.

Monstrum is a monster!!!!!!
I own 3 of this particular model. All mounted on AR-15's. Calibers 7.62, 5.56, and . 300 ACC. These little scopes are tough. They are very clear. The reticle is very visible even without using the internal illumination. All 3 rifles consistently group around 3/4" at 100 yards. I also own the 3x model and it's as dependable and clear as the 4x. I'm replacing all of my existing optics with monstrum scopes one at a time. I have that much confidence in the quality and clarity they offer. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.WHOA!!!!!!!!! FURTHER REVIEW!!!!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!!!!! As stated above, originally I was pleased with these scopes. Now 6 months to a year later, 2 of the 3 are in the woods after I slung the as hard as I could sling. The reticle on these scopes will cant left or right after a while. One moved about 20° and the other looked like it was floating in water it moved so much. I tossed em down in the woods. Yes Monstrum offered full replacement but I had to pay shipping. That cost was ridiculous. Damn near half the price of these scopes. They zero well, they are clear, seem decent quality, but the crosshair will move. I hadn't fired the guns mine were on in months either. They were on 5.56 and 300 blackout and sitting in a gun safe. I won't purchase Monstrum again.

Nice and compact. Perfect for close range
Awesome reticle, super clear glass, very compact, and tactical. Easy to get on target very quickly. Only thing I didn't like was the scope mount, it did not fit my Umarex Notos with a higher capacity magazine, so i had to buy different rings. Wish they sold the scope with no rings or gave you the option to change your rings.
