Helm of Awe Ravenskull Pendant by Alchemy Gothic (Metal-Wear), Silver

a really really beautiful piece. the leather cording is a bit stiff but I suspect that it will become more supple over time. the cording and findings (toggle clasp) are set up in such a way that you can easily shorten the length - which I did.the pendant itself is wonderful, just the right amount of luster. the backside of the skull is stamped 2014 Alchemy 1977 England. its got a nice size and weight to it and hangs very nicely off of the leather cording. you can remove it and put it on a chain, but I am not sure how the pewter would react to having metal scraped against it over and over, it would likely wear a bit, as it is pretty soft. overall a quality piece. it was my first Alchemy Gothic piece, but it will not be my last. =)

I didn't pay much attention to the size and was surprised by how big it actually is, but no complaints! It is heavy and made out of great material, very durable and it looks wickedly awesome

Do not waste your money. I have plenty of pewter jewelry and none of it leaves smudges all over my skin. This does. Low quality.

very nice, heavy and good quality. one thing i would suggest is making the rope a round braided rope, then this item would be perfect!

Alchemy always does a fantastic job on their stuff and this one really out does anything they have done in the past. Nice heavy and detailed hunk of Pewter.

I love this necklace! The leather cord is stiff at first, but becomes softer the more it's worn in. The pendant is heavy, which I like, so it stays in place and is a perfect statement piece. I was also impressed with how quickly, and early, this arrived in the mail!

I looked at a lot of similar products before settling on this one. It was a little more than what I can afford, but I'm so glad I bought it. It's just the right shape to hold in my hand and the weight is comforting. I also appreciate that the skull shape continues on the underside, most pendants I saw were hollow underneath. I'd like to thank Alchemy very much for making a quality product that I'm sure I'll still be cherishing years from now.
