We bought the 2400 plus the 4 solar panels for $2150 on a good sale in July 2023. We tried charging the panels 1 at a time, 2 at a time, and 4 at a time in full clear sun in Texas on different times and days. Each of the solar panels averaged about half of the capacity stated. I thought I may have received defective panels. When I contacted OUPES this was their response in an email."Hello, Sorry for this inconvenienceAt present, the power of the solar panels on the market is based on the data tested under the intensity of 1000W per square meter.The working efficiency will vary with different addresses.Actually, such lighting conditions are only available near the equator.We also purchased and tested other solar panels from competitors and found that the test results were similar.Thank you for your understandingOUPES"I have never heard that solar panels get half the capacity if you are not on the equator. I asked them to send the info. where they got that data. They did not reply. I know people in Alaska that have gotten better charging power with these same panels. They are much further than Texas from the equator. My other solar panels from a different company are over 90% capacity. So, this statement is not true in my actual experience.The battery itself ran a mini freezer for about 28 hours. I tried various household appliances pulling all sorts of power needs from a coffee maker to an aquarium. It functioned very well in the short time we have used it.The battery itself functions as stated and everything seems sturdy and well-made. Overall we decided to keep it because we got such a good deal on the sale. However, I would never pay full price for the package we bought. The panels are not worth any where near the full price in our opinion. The panels are closer to an average of 90w to 120w charging in full sun, and not near the 240w stated.

***Told my wife I would NOT move to Texas with Solar Panels/Batteries in case the power goes out on a hot day...Electricity Cost is slow LOW I ONLY wanted Solar/Batteries if the power goes out.Already have (two) Oupes Mega 3 + 2 Extra Batteries (1 for each Mega 3), 1 other Oupes 2400I already had a NON Oupes 300 Watt Portal Solar Panel.***Needed to have more Solar Panels to charge batteries if the power goes out.I am AMAZED at the FOUR Oupes 240Watt Solar Panels:1. TWO Different kinds Connectors attached cable go to the panels were made to connect to the Oupes 2400 (Connects to the Power Connector OR Solar Input - Extremely Easy).2. With an adaptor, the "Oupes 240Watt Solar Panels" connect to the "Oupes Mega 3" and the Extra Batteries.3. While charging, on a bright sunny day with the sun over head, I actually got over 900watts with all "FOUR" of the panels connected to the "Oupes 240Watt Solar Panels" OR "Oupes Mega 3".-918Watts (Total) Divided by 4 = 229.4Watts PER Panel = about 95% of the 240watt rating (Under Perfect Conditions and only for a few minutes)4. Panels "Putting Up and Taking Down - Takes a few times to get it right5. I can use 3 Panels to charge up ONE of the "Oupes Mega 3" (while using the other) and 2 Panels (Oupes 240Watt & the OFF Brand 300Watt Panel - 2400 Can use 2 Different kinds of Panels at the same time) to charge up the "Oupes 2400"TWO Important Cautions:1. Be careful picking up the PANELS after being in the SUN and Charging a Unit...SO Hot it can HURT to pickup.2. ***DO NOT lay on the Grass FLAT, I SCORCHED my Grass (Burnt it)These PANELS are everything I Hoped they would be...with sun, I can charge up the Oupes 2400 in 4 to 5 hours...and charge the Mega 3 in one day.Oupes 2400 - Can run my Refrigerator for about 28 hoursMega 3 (Plus one extra Battery) - Can run my Window AC for about 10+ hrs (Set to Low).

Products (Mega 5 and 5 battery) arrived in excellent safe packing. Both work just fine except for WiFi and Bluetooth connect to APP. Many issues and 5G not supported! Yikes this is not a product from 2015. User manuasls are very lacking. Online Facebook community page is the source for technical advice? Conflicting advice from users not tech reps! OUPES needs to up their game and provide tech reps available for definitive answers. Waiting 5 hours for basic questions on useless chat. $5,000.00+ purchase needs top of the line customer service. Also manual and website could use edit from native English speaker. Some grammar, syntax and descriptions are odd and confusing.
