Awesome gift for a future star wars fan
Didn't have the black box but I'm glad to have my bb8 back. Gave mine away to a kid, hopefully will inspire future fans so got one for my little one. You need the app which is clunky at times. Wish the sounds came from the Droid.

Great toy, head pops off.
We saw this at a friend's house and my son automatically fell in love with it. We got it for his birthday and he still plays with it daily 2 months later. The head pops off a little too easily. Any time you go over a bump off pops the head. He doesn't mind too much. It is a big hit with friends!

I bought this for my grandson. He loves it. Plays with it all the time & likes to tease the dogs with it.

The app to control and actually use this product was taken off the App Store Oct. 2021. And it can’t be used properly if at all without it.

Love this droid
Love this droid! Controlling it through the band can be tricky. In fact, I haven't mastered it yet. Needs lot of patience.

False advertising by seller
It was advertised as coming : battle damaged version, collectible tin, and with wrist remote.None of these were included in fact it’s missing everything except the droid!
