A great book about a great man, very worth reading!
Harry Houdini was a very interesting individual, as is seen in this historical biography. I quite enjoyed reading about his life in this book. I especially loved reading about all he did to support American soldiers and their families during and after WWI, and hospitals, and orphanages... Houdini was a good man with a kind and compassionate heart and a drive to make others happy. 🙂

The book is always better!
Got this for our daughter who loves the show. She thought “I’ve already seen that episode” so she would be wasting her time. I encouraged her to read it anyway - we all know the book is always better than the show/movie. She opted to read out loud to me - and loved it. Definitely a great buy for us.

Too juvenlie for 9 year old
Gave as gift. My nephew is 9 and is an avid reader, is very interested in Houdini (aren't ALL 9 year olds?). Well he had this book finished in less than 20 min, Good thing I ordered some additional Houdini books.

Perfect for biography reading lessons and report writing in 3rd/4th gr.
I bought these for my third grade classroom. They are great for the biography genre and then to use for report writing. The three years I've used them so far the kids LOVED them. Easy for their reading levels, informative, and people they have heard of in their lives. They would read their own and then read other that they had heard of. Could have left these books out 1/2 year and they would have still been reading them.

Loves the whole series. For the young non fiction fans. Similar to the fact trackers in the Magic Treehouse Series.
