Fuel90® - Energy Gel lemon lime

This energy gel is very tasty, sweet, of quality, excellent quantity per sachet, it has worked well for me, it is great value for money and I recommend it.

It tastes really good, whereas others I've used in the past will make you gag. Had one at half time in pre- season, and found that I was feeling good at the end of the 90 minutes. Have continued to use and finding them good. Always been a fan of orange tasting things and this doesn't disappoint.

Very easy to drink if you’re okay with sugary drinks. It’s not too thick, wouldn’t say it’s a gel but rather a syrup.You can definitely taste and feel the sugary texture but I suppose you can mix it with water and it’ll be fine.For 12 doses I feel this is a bit expensive and would go instead for their caffeine shots at a very similar price per unit but with better effects, at least in my case.It helps with energy but not as well as their caffeine shots.

Got these energy gels for husband as he needs the extra kick at work. The flavour is very orangey, to strong, husband said. He needed to drink glass of water after consuming each sachet, its very strong. On the other hand, it does give right kick. Husband said that after taking one sachet, he feels like after 2 strong coffees. So it helps rise the energy level without feeling tired.It's designed for football players but also for those who work hard, doing intensive exercises. It small portion loaded with energy. It's easy to open and consume directly from the pouch.It should be consumed within 5-6 months (by end of April 22, now is November 21).

These energy gel sachets come in a brightly coloured box which gives a sort of indication to the flavour and each gel sachet has a rip off at the top which then allows you to squeeze the contents in to your mouth. I did find that with a couple of sachets the top didn't rip properly and it was then a pain to get the gel out.Whilst these are advertised for football players I've been taking these before running and have found that they do seem to give you an extra boost at least for the first part of your run and I don't feel as dehydrated at the end. The flavour has quite a pleasant berry taste to it although like many gels they are extremely sweet and feel like you're just emptying a tube of liquid sugar in to your mouth.As it feels like these do help during exercise I probably will purchase more but would like to see what other flavours they have as whilst this one doesn't taste too bad, I'm yet to find a gel that I really like. Otherwise I highly recommend these.
