Great informational book, especially for new teachers who are in their first year or two of teaching. I find that this gave me a lot of insight into the psyche of a first grader, as well as reminders that are quickly forgotten in the hustle and bustle of daily life in a first grade class. I feel more confident in my teaching having this book in my toolbox.
